Cross-Platform Hype

Hello, gamers. Back again with another blog post. What I want to mention to you now, though, is a bit of a shout-out to Hi-Rez Studios. They are getting a cross-platform system and I know you guys are hyped for it. I know I am. But PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch are getting it and they haven't included PS4 yet. That's just not right, but there is one explanation.

Sony has a PlayStation Cross-Platform program and they have Fortnite and Rocket League in their program. That is the reason why they haven't included PS4 yet, but Titan Forge and Evil Mojo have did some database work in taking the servers down for up to 24 hours to merge players across all platforms. As they said, cross-platform will go live in the 6.1 update for SMITE and the 2.2 update for Paladins. If both of these updates go live, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch players will see the cross-play setting and can play with each other while we PS4 players won't see the cross-play setting because we have to wait until Sony adds them to their program to make it 100% epicness (25% on each platform), so it's not full cross-play fun yet. While the PlayStation Cross-Play program is in a Beta stage, they'll add more games including SMITE and Paladins to their program, so I made a wish list of games that I want to be added to their program, including fighting games, both western and Japanese.

Well, that's all I had to say in this blog post. Remember, Paladins is upgrading to 2.1 tomorrow and Realm Royale is upgrading tomorrow also. Well, for PC and Xbox One. PS4 will get it in a later date. Signing out.

Reasons Why I Buy a PS4 Over the Xbox One

Hello there, you lovely RPG fans. I know you guys are worried about that I have a hiatus from playing RPGs with profanity, but the good news is, there will be future RPGs without profanity. Anyway, I have a post to share.

Alright, so you know how PS4 is great and it's a better system than the Xbox One? Well, I have some reasons on why I had to buy the PS4 instead of an Xbox One. Here are the reasons below.

Games:

The PS4 has more games than the Xbox One. It's not just because there are exclusives. No, it's because that Japanese companies are still supporting Sony. At first, I thought Microsoft is gonna have JRPGs and fighting games for the Xbox One, but apparently, they won't be because little did I know that if Japanese companies support Microsoft, they will lose money, which I didn't know at first and I was happy to oblige. So let's face it, the Xbox One has less games than the PS4.

PS Plus Not Required to Play Free to Play Games:

When the PS4 comes out, PS Plus is required to play games online to make it a rule similar to Microsoft's pay to play online rule for their Xbox Live Gold, but the only difference is that they don't need a PS Plus membership to play free to play games, like Paladins, Fortnite and others. But on the Xbox One, Gold is required to play free to play games on it.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore:

Since the original Skullgirls, Reverge Labs has been laid off and Lab Zero has to take their stead because of Reverge Labs' liquidation. When Robo-Fortune comes out, Lab Zero launches Skullgirls 2nd Encore for PS4. Remember me telling you about it? Well, 2nd Encore has interesting features like a fully-voiced story mode inspired by anime fighting games like BlazBlue, cross-play between the PlayStation family and more. Just feel the experience. Now that's a unique thing that gets the RGR Seal of Approval. The reason why I'm telling you this is because I played Skullgirls a lot while listening to BlazBlue music for fun. Seems like I haven't played it for so long. And then, with Indivisible on the horizon, it's no script. Maybe when it comes out, they should make a bright future for Skullgirls with a general story mode with fully animated cutscenes similar to the ones in Central Fiction. And yes, movie theaters remind you of Skullgirls at night, obviously.

Fortnite:

There has been some shenanigans and we appear to be in a dire predicament that Fortnite doesn't work on the Xbox One. There was this one Oh Shiitake Mushrooms video that has a part that explains on how Fortnite not working on the Xbox One and then one kid had to destroy the Xbox One over Fortnite not working on it. Ridiculous as this sounds, but it's true. I've seen it in action that it freezes on the lobby then crashes. Fortunately, that is a skit that has stunts that can't be performed in real life like destroying electronics, burning things, etc.

Japanese Companies:

When the Xbox 360 first came out, they give it a shot, but they lost money and will never support Microsoft again until they keep their act together, so that's why they have to stay with Sony to be safe and it does not apply to Fortnite crashing on the Xbox One. Since fighting games and RPGs are big in Japan, Sony is safe for Japanese companies to support while Microsoft isn't. I mean, JRPGs and fighting games are nighttime-evident to Sony. By the way, Microsoft has a couple JRPGs and it seems like that was anti-climactic. Weird. Japanese companies lose money when they support Microsoft.

Street Fighter V:

Capcom and Dimps have presented this fighting game. Street Fighter V is a great fighting game, despite the footsies game. It's too bad that the Xbox One not getting it, that is because of Sony funding it. But a PC version can be the case. Call me crazy, but I wish SFV is on the Xbox One, but it isn't because it's money. Honestly, I do like SFV, but the footsies are annoying. Now tell me on why the footsies game has to be implemented. I'll explain right now. The fanbase thinks this fighting game is trash. Although Capcom is throwing out DLC throughout the years. I haven't bought all of the Season 3 DLC characters yet, so it's 2 out of 6.

Fighting Games:

Both systems have a few fighting games, but the PS4 has more fighting games than the Xbox One because of Japanese companies, but Bandai Namco is an exception because they can support Sony and Microsoft for Tekken and Soul Calibur and their anime-based fighting games. In fact, there was a fighting game for the Xbox 360 not by Bandai Namco that has not been released and has been cancelled due to the fact that Japanese companies have to stay with Sony. It's true because I saw it and has been removed from the database. For example, if you know about SNK, then you should know that a while back, they announced KOFXIV for the PS4 and PC, but no Xbox One release because SNK is no longer supporting Microsoft since the previous KOF. They have intended to support Sony and Nintendo to announce SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. PS4 version is digital only while the Nintendo Switch version is both physical and digital. Now that's a nighttime-evident fighting game that I would rather play.

RPG Games:

At first, I thought the Xbox One is gonna get JRPGs, but I was wrong and yet, I see a couple of them in the works for it. Little did I know that Japanese companies support well with Sony and I am an RPG fan. However, I can now play profanity-safe RPGs only. Don't worry, I'm sure that there will more profanity-safe JRPGs in the future, especially nighttime-evident ones. Nighttime-evident is the reason why I'm into JRPGs more than WRPGs.

YouTube Craze:

My favorite YouTube channels have people who have an Xbox One and all the shenanigans about destroying the gaming systems. A have a few channels on my list who have an Xbox One. There's was all that craze that they went psycho when the internet is turned off while playing online or taking it out their teammate who makes their team lose. I do have a couple of my favorite channels who have a PS4. But the majority of them is having an Xbox One. That is because of moments with it.

Remakes of PS1 Games:

Have you guys played the PS1 before? Sony has released the HD remakes for Crash and Spyro. They released Crash Bandicoot's N-Sane Trilogy and Spyro's Reignited Trilogy. Both of them have 3 games that are originally released for the PS1 and both of them are not PS4 exclusives because Xbox One and Nintendo Switch also got it. And now, they got a new remake for them. It's for MediEvil, 3D platformer for the PS1 classic. I actually played MediEvil a little bit and Resident Evil 2. It's not a new game, but it's a remake of the PS1 original. Activision is behind presenting the Spyro and Crash HD collection remakes that I can really play a lot and I have 100%ed one of Spyro's games easily, but I haven't 100% one of Crash's games yet, so... What's this? Guys, I need to get straight to the subject. Thank you.

I just want to shout-out to Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, okay? Are you familiar with Crash Team Racing? I am. My brother, especially. Maybe we should start streaming it. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is releasing in June. Its got remastered graphics and online features. Would you guys be interested in watching us stream some CTR? I know not everyone enjoys the original, but I enjoy it. Just hit the Follow button on my Twitch channel, alright?

What about this blog post? I have a few reasons above on why I had to buy a PS4 over the Xbox One. It's not scripted and for once, I have not scripted a single blog post when I'm just talking to you. On top of that, I need to work on getting a 1 TB PS4 while managing things with some mumbo jumbo gypsy magic on my own. Let me know what you think about my reasons above. Well, that about does it for this blog post. Signing out.
