Weekly Update - 6/21/21

Hello, everyone, I haven't done a weekly update for a while, but I'm back with today's weekly update to let you guys know what's going on.

Let's start with the elephant in the room, which is as usual, another update regarding Autumn Games' acclaimed IP, Skullgirls. Annie's official release was supposed to be early May, but apparently, she has been delayed to either late June or early July. It's not because of the recent announcement entailing Umbrella's playable debut. It's because of the hurdle they must clear out, which is Sony's submission. The release process on Steam is much more straightforward and quicker than on Sony's end.

But the good news is, after waiting three weeks since the delay, they are getting closer to officially releasing Annie and Season Pass 1 on the PS4. The Annie Beta changes have been finalized, by transferring them to the retail version and her character tutorial and Trials have been implemented on Steam as a preparation patch to make way for her official release that comes with her story and hopefully her Japanese voice. However, her story won't be fully voiced at launch, but will be in a later date. The same will go for Umbrella's story and the others.

The Beta version has been retired until Umbrella's Alpha phase, also on the horizon. Seriously, I don't know how did Skullgirls manage to get the first Season Pass. I think without Mike Z's involvement might be the explanation. After all, Mike Z was the source of shackling Skullgirls. He announced that the Japanese voice patch will be the final one and after that, the development is finished, until Annie's playable debut to 2nd Encore revives things.

Once they have Annie's official launch done, the next thing is focusing on getting Umbrella and her stage, Boardwalk ready for her Alpha phase and it's the perfect opportunity to get Active Angel ready to be played upon her entrance after the death of a teammate or as a point character in MvC1 mode, even though she is in a sketchy state and for when Boardwalk, which uses a bright and cheerful setting is selected while on MvC2 mode. If there is a nighttime variant of Boardwalk, Active Angel will fit perfectly with it as well. I seriously hope they get Umbrella's official release done before announcing the next character.

So far, Umbrella's development is turning out well and they do developement streams every Wednesday and behind the scenes updates every Friday to hold us off until the Alpha phase. So to recap the previous animation streams...

5/12 - Jumping HK Animation by Kinuko
5/19 - Special Move Animation by Persona
5/26 - Tag Out Animation by Atrox
6/2 - Super Animation by Kinuko
6/9 - FX from Umbrella's Super by Persona
6/16 - Time Out Lose Animation by Atrox

These are the Umbrella animation streams I kept track. Accordingly, it appears that they have about a couple more animation streams before hitting the Alpha phase, but there are a tons more development streams beyond that. If you remember last week's animation stream, her time out lose animation entails Umbrella's temper tantrum over her time out loss, akin to Platinum the Trinity. That's how Active Angel fits well with Umbrella, just like with how Justice Sword fits well with Annie. In fact, Active Angel is so bright, peppy and cheerful that it fits perfectly with Umbrella and Boardwalk.

Here is a little gameplay degree that I'm gonna do once Annie, Umbrella and the TBA DLC characters get released on PS4. This degree will be updated.

Phase 1: Play Umbrella's Tutorial.

Phase 2A: Play solo Umbrella against any solo character in Training.

Phase 2B: Play your duo or trio team that must have Umbrella in Training.

Phase 3A: Play solo Umbrella in Arcade Mode.

Phase 3B: Play your duo or trio team in Arcade Mode. You must have Umbrella in your team.

Phase 4A: Play matches with solo Umbrella in Quick Match.*

Phase 4B: Play matches with your duo or trio team in Quick Match. You must have Umbrella in your team.*

*Phases require a paid PlayStation Plus membership to play online.

And you know what else is exciting? I was spectating a lot of Skullgirls matches and holy frick, I gotten my opportunity to play Yang Mix during Cerebella vs. Beowulf and Fatal Judge during Ms. Fortune vs. Robo-Fortune, though I was a bit late. This gets me pumped up for Annie's PS4 release and those two really bang well with the following solo matches.

I think they should make loading screens long enough to display what characters they have on their team to make things easy when I'm deejaying BBTAG music during MvC1 mode, the character section. Or better yet, give the spectators the opportunity to watch them choose the characters. So yeah, I'm part of the finals when you least expect it.

Speaking of the finals, if you haven't noticed, weeks ago, the SPL and the SCC games were suspended due to unforseen circumstances that happened behind the scenes and that is the death of John Finch. He was 28 years old and I don't know how he died. He died, and then the Morgan Le Fay reveal trailer pops up. Our newest SMITE Goddess of the Arthurian pantheon has been released.

May he rest in peace and he will be missed forever. I'm gonna miss that smile and his ecstatic nature that talked about Space Jam. It's too bad that he missed the SPL Phase 1 Playoffs, which just finished because the Jade Dragons have won the Phase 1 Playoffs after pulling that Houdini from the Olympus Bolts and finally cleared the conflict of me spectating Skullgirls matches while deejaying BBTAG music on the character section of the chart.

Now, for the future. This week is gonna be a blockbuster. Emphasis on "blockbuster" because the developers of SMITE and Paladins have announced their Crossover Passes based on their hit blockbuster series for their upcoming Mid-Season Update Show where they output a bevy of drastic balance changes to characters and ranked stuff and new content on the second half of every year. On the SMITE side, a Crossover Pass based on Netflix's blockbuster drama series, Stranger Things is announced. On the Paladins side, a very first Crossover Pass based on Rooster Teeth's blockbuster anime series, gen:LOCK that contains 5 skins is announced and a new Support Champion that is a furry, like Io and is a House Aico Champion, like Lian and Khan.

With the Crossover Passes coming in their next update, it's gonna be a bonanza mid-season blockbuster we will enjoy and honestly, I don't think someone who wants to watch Stranger Things and gen:LOCK is just gonna drive to Blockbuster Video in Oregon to rent them.

It's weird that we haven't gotten a mid-season patch in Paladins for over two years since their update cadence has changed, but their two month update cycle has turned out well this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which is waning down, hoping they go back to their in-person Update Shows.

Heck, I took two of my Moderna COVID-19 vaccine shots and the reason for that is because I want to get back to my normal activities without the need to wear a mask nor socially distance because the CDC states face masks and social distancing are no longer required for fully vaccinated people, including me. In fact, I want to get me and my family protected from the deadly virus.

And if you reading this, unvaccinated people, please take the vaccine if you want to return to doing your normal activities, like hosting offline tournaments, in-person working, etc. and stop that annoying Delta variant from emerging and don't give me that "vaccines kill people" or whatever excuse. Because the sooner you get vaccinated, the sooner we can end this pandemic. Please take the darn vaccine. We want our country to trigger herd immunity.

This has been this week's update to let you know what's going on this week. And again, stay safe and please get vaccinated. Signing out.

BBTAG Music to SG Chart Update 1 + Fun Facts

Before I provide you with the update, I have removed the colored dots that represent universes to make things easy. Here is the very first update on my BBTAG music to Skullgirls chart.

The character section of this chart during MvC1 mode has an update that makes it clear; not only some songs have been changed while the section is renamed to playable characters to clarify things as I taken Marie, assigned to Awakening the Chaos off. Ice cream loving child and salty sister Umbrella (and the thunderous and monsterous Living Weapon, Hungern) has been revealed as DLC2 of the Season Pass and the 16th playable character to fill in the hole of the Skullgirls story, thus putting an end to the salt once and for all and evening things out to come with a possibility to play Active Angel upon her entrance. In fact, she is one of the characters in my wish list to have her playable debut she deserves for the general story mode DLC I want.

Since 2005, Umbrella was a candidate for the base roster, but she couldn't make it because they ran out of time, so they have given us a base roster of eight characters that are all female. For Annie, she couldn't earn her playable debut in the first place because she wasn't one of the crowdfunded 2nd Encore DLC characters. Where it stands now, after almost a decade since release, both Annie and Umbrella have finally earned their playable debut to Skullgirls through its first ever Season Pass with Justice Sword and Active Angel on the docket. Those two are included in several artworks and Umbrella is included in the 2nd Encore art and that's the small reason why I wanted her to be a playable character.

Every playable Skullgirls character has a sigil, poster, action shot, line up shot, story and a Mobile exclusive Marquee Ability. Now, every playable Skullgirls character must have a BBTAG character theme to be played upon their entrance and during their character tutorials and trials. Since I'm hearing that Umbrella has an upbeat nature fit for a child and she is fun to animate, the only BBTAG character theme to assign her to is Active Angel, and that is because of its upbeat and cheery cadence.

Another reason why I wanted Umbrella to make her playable debut is much more obvious and bigger. Parasoul is one of the playable characters in the base roster that is the eldest daughter of the royal family and has her defenseless little sister that couldn't become one in the first place. That is until she has been announced as one of the playable characters in the Season 1 Pass after over nine and a half years since release, alongside Annie to make Umbrella a salty sidekick of a sister.

Their above action shots with the Black Egrets in the background and their themes I labelled on the lower left hand corner of them as a garnishment consisting of Missions for the Brilliant Executor and Active Angel indicate that these guys are more than just sisters. They are the Canopy Kingdom's finest princesses, although Umbrella won't have moves that involve Egret soldiers in her moveset. Honestly, it is starting to feel like Grindr since I threw in yellow and blue labels.

Thanks to BBTAG music being much more unprecedented than with the mainline BlazBlue games, Parasoul is assigned to a Persona 4 Arena theme while Umbrella is still assigned to a BlazBlue theme despite shifting to BBTAG music and that's a good thing.

As a tradition, it's time for not one but two fun facts on how Missions for the Brilliant Executor and Active Angel fit well with the princesses of the royal family. These will concern the fabled Canopy Kingdom and how the Grand War changed the world forever. Now, listen up. *ahem*

Alright, so... you know how the last fun fact had a BlazBlue joke? Well, that's where Umbrella comes in. Assigned to Active Angel. You see, Umbrella is more cheery and upbeat than any child in every which way. Like, Platinum the Trinity kind of cheery and upbeat, which makes Active Angel a cherry on top to garnish a princess with an upbeat personality, on both the mainline BlazBlue music period and on the BBTAG music period.

Back then, since Skullgirls first came out over nine years ago, an Indiegogo campaign was made to give the game five DLC characters Squigly, Big Band, Eliza, Beowulf and Robo-Fortune with Overwhelm Despair, MOTOR HEAD, SUSANOOH, A Pure-Hearted Beast and Heartful Cry as cherries on top during the BBTAG music period. And there's a clone character, Fukua, who is an evil version of Filia. But Umbrella was not happy that she isn't one of them and she is getting saltier and saltier.

She dreamed of joining a team that involves Beowulf and Annie to make Team Secret of Mana to make Square Enix proud. And now, her dream will be a reality because Umbrella is officially confirmed as the next Season 1 Pass character with Active Angel as a cherry on top and she is totes happy. This is a swell deal and all, but the salt doesn't stop there.

You see, a long time ago, Umbrella was a wee toddler. She had a big sister, Parasoul, who was younger. They were raised by Queen Nancy and King Franz Renoir. Together, they ruled the Canopy Kingdom as symbols of justice, royalty and order.

Years later, Umbrella has donned her rain gear and is armed with Hungern, a monsterous and thunderous living umbrella that eats everything and shoots bubbles crafted from a tortoise shell and the body of a cow, I guess. Hungern can eat anything. Pizza, chicken, fries, hamburgers and everything. Even trash. Since Hungern is a voracious best friend to Umbrella, she comes with an ingame UI element that shows Hungern's fullness meter separated into four levels that fills up when eating opponents and depletes when shooting bubbles, in which Active Angel is benefitted. And no one is more cheery and upbeat than Umbrella Renoir. Give her a Platinum the Trinity palette to benefit that.

In fact, Umbrella is so cheery that at night when you're at the movie theater, you look at candies and slushies to think of her. Nice.

Anyway, the Skullgirl's appearance has triggered Umbrella to follow her and Parasoul is not only tasked to defeat the Skullgirl, but to save her sister from becoming the Skullgirl. If she does, it'll irreversibly defile all of that bright and cheery mood, creating a dark and gloomy mood, which Active Angel won't fit well with.

And that's not a small endeavor. If Umbrella gets the Skullgirl palette and voice pack as her Season 1 Pass-exclusive content, consequences would be dire if equipped at the same time. And even though Umbrella is equipped with the Skullgirl palette and voice pack in game, Active Angel stays, and I can't even make a dark and gloomy version of it. You better watch out because Hungern can eat anyone alive. That and can rain down his acids on them before devouring and this is a cinematic lv. 5 super dubbed Feeding Frenzy, perfect for Umbrella to have harder than my reputation drops. That's maximum salt right there! Basically, Umbrella likes to have fun and play in her stage that is an amusement park and Active Angel is a perfect fit for her stage.

If her story entails being her big sister's salty sidekick because when the Skullgirl appears, Umbrella wanted to fight alongside Parasoul, but she had to be locked up in their castle, which is just fragile, the true story starts. Don't feel bad, Umbrella. I'm sure you won't be locked up in your castle any longer now that you are making your playable debut. So if you see a child that looks like Umbrella in real life, just say hi, or give her an autograph. Don't molest her or you'll end up in jail like other pedophiles because she is a child. Yeah.

---

Alright, so... you know how there are multiple universes in BBTAG? Well, that's where Parasoul comes in. Assigned to Missions for the Brilliant Executor. You see, with great power comes great responsibility. I mean... justice. So years ago, Parasoul spent her younger age as Sergeant of the Canopy Kingdom's elite military force, the Black Egrets, doing military stuff. Target practice, bossing people around, putting bad guys into custody. Umbrella is her little sister that was a wee toddler and I'm sure you remembered her. They were raised by Queen Nancy and King Franz Renoir. Together, they rule the Canopy Kingdom as symbols of justice, royalty and order.

Years passed and Parasoul donned her black suit and earned Krieg, her umbrella that shoots and leaves napalm tears crafted from a tortoise shell and the body of a cow, I guess. With these tools, Parasoul became Commander to call forth her Egret soldiers ingame and became Mitsuru Kirijo with an umbrella and Missions for the Brilliant Executor would be the cherry on top thanks to the shift to BBTAG music. She also bears a sigil of an upside down cross to make Jesus Christ jealous.

If it's good enough with how Active Angel is a perfect fit for Umbrella because of her bright and cheery personality, Missions for the Brilliant Executor is a perfect garnishment to fit well with a Princess with a brilliant personality that wears a black suit. Made because Mitsuru Kirijo wears her black suit in Persona 4 Arena and is brilliant. Nobody will be more brilliant than Parasoul Renoir. Plus, you think of her when you see cars parked outside of the movie theater during the night.

You see, the best thing about Missions for the Brilliant Executor fitting well with Parasoul is that not only seeing her in game made me think of Reno 911! and think of her as a cop since she can call forth her Egret soldiers in game, beat up and apprehend bad guys with her pool balls, sonic breasts and KFC combos, courtesy of what Umbrella said. You know, like Batman, but with a napalm-fueled umbrella. And by apprehend, I mean put bad guys into custody, including Scythana, following that felony involving the attack of the Renoir Family Grand War Memorial in Canopolis, which is kind of funny.

It's also because since Parasoul is the Commander of an elite military force similar to the elite military force first appeared in Sonic Adventure 2, the G.U.N., she and her Egret soldiers partake on missions consisting of defeating the Skullgirl and saving her little sister from becoming the Skullgirl and she executes commands for her Egret soldiers and she is brilliant, hence the name of the theme. Well, Parasoul never executed a single person and she is not a cop, but royalty and justice are the key reasons why she can apprehend and prosecute bad guys without the need to kill. Sure, she can go all Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid and have a meeting with the Central Intelligence Agency at Canopolis, but this Commander and her Egret soldiers like to execute military missions like she and her soldiers are working at the US Army, probably. And since women can't portray James Bond, she is all that to be basically an agent. But she isn't.

I mean, she is so brilliant at calling forth her Egret soldiers in game that she and her soldiers could be simultaneously shooting a beam together and Beam Brigade is gonna be her cinematic lv. 5 super, which would be brilliant. Forget Special Forces. Commander Parasoul of the Black Egrets in her Persona 4 Arena Mitsuru Kirijo palette, reporting for duty!

And since her little sister Umbrella is making her playable debut to Skullgirls, she will side with her big sister, beat up thugs and become Robin with a monsterous living umbrella. And that's not all. Umbrella will also side with Beowulf and Annie to establish Team Secret of Mana, but Parasoul senpai noticed her and wouldn't allow it. Dang, Parasoul, I never realized how fragile of a big sister and Commander of the military you are.

These are the above fun facts on how Missions for the Brilliant Executor and Active Angel fit perfectly with two of the finest princesses of the Canopy Kingdom. Plus, they are both unbelievable for them. This quip for the themes that the Renoir sisters are assigned to is obvious below.

"There are available Missions for the Brilliant Executor and her military friends to partake on, but instead, this ecstatic and Active Angel wants ice cream."

Again, this is the new arc of listening to other games' music. I said that because BBTAG is a magical team-based fighting game that has characters from BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, RWBY and the EX universes and uses a jukebox feature that has over 60 battle themes as I said before.

Just look at how nifty they Renoir sisters look in their palettes that depict BBTAG characters. Here's Parasoul in her Misturu Kirijo palette and Umbrella in her Platinum the Trinity palette. Pretty nifty, huh?

So far, we got Filia and Painwheel, Peacock and Big Band, Beowulf and Annie, and Parasoul and Umbrella playable together. Now, the only duos left are Cerebella and Feng, and Ms. Fortune and Minette to be playable together so that the Skullgirls hero and sidekick duo collection will be complete. We might get a hero and sidekick story mode where we choose which hero and sidekick duo to play as.

This is like the old customs on the vs. Capcom games, like Marvel vs. Capcom, Capcom vs. SNK and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and wanting more of them, like Square Enix vs. Capcom and Bandai Namco vs. Capcom. And of course, Nickelodeon vs. Capcom, even though it's not one of the vs. Capcom games that interests me. It's a terrific deal. Even Banjo-Kazooie isn't one of them. And it's not because Nintendo and Microsoft own all rights to the franchise since they joined Smash Ultimate.

So I'm thinking that Parasoul and Umbrella are the Batman and Robin while Cerebella and Feng are the Blue Beetle and Firestorm. So what DC pair Ms. Fortune and Minette are? I don't know. The Flash and Green Lantern, maybe? But I know one thing for sure. I am supporting Feng and Minette real hard now that we are getting more characters. Screw you to heck, Mike Zaimont.

By the way, you know how the Adventures of Batman & Robin is a thing? Well, thanks to Umbrella finally making her playable debut to Skullgirls, the Adventures of Parasoul & Umbrella will be a thing as soon as Umbrella is officially released on 2nd Encore and on Mobile, of never being pulled into the Regime by Superman again. Together, they'll leave the castle and kick butt across New Meridian in the name of justice. You know, like Batman and Robin? They leave the Batcave and kick butt across Gotham City in the name of justice? It's a thin line between the Renoirs and the Waynes.

Well, the Renoir sisters don't have capes or grappling hooks and New Meridian is not Gotham City. Although they do have art deco buildings that New York City has. But what they do have is their umbrellas and their castle is their Batcave. If there is a trio team that involves the Renoir sisters, the real fun starts. Forget Batarangs and Birdarangs. Krieg tears and Hungern bubbles are what they at in evacuating the Canopy Square Garden and taking down Scythana. Now that's an action-packed DC film I'd watch, which would be freaking awesome, but I think there is an unknown destiny between the Renoir sisters that the world may never know.

That being said, I expect a lot of Umbrella gameplay in action so I can play Active Angel upon her entrance after a death and as a point character at the beginning of the match on the Player 2 side while watching streams like I did with playing Justice Sword upon Annie's entrance after a death and as a point character at the beginning of the match on the Player 2 side while watching streams, although I'm not a Skullgirls PC player yet. Justice Sword is unbelievable. So will Active Angel.

Here's a gameplay outline on how will Umbrella play. First off, she is a small character with huge swings from her thunderous and monsterous Living Weapon, Hungern, which is involved in most of her attacks. As the match goes on after performing certain actions, Hungern gets hungrier. If he is starving, the normal attacks that involve him slows down, but stronger when devouring opponents. But when Hungern is overstuffed, moves that involve him conjure something from the depths from his stomach. Please note while Umbrella is very early in development, her gameplay outline is heavily subject to change after further development and testing, though it states that Umbrella players must manage Hungern's hunger gauge.

There are a lot of ecstatic people who are seriously itching to try Umbrella out and since she is coming to both 2nd Encore and Mobile simultaneously, they are gonna try her out earlier than ever because according to the devs of Hidden Variable, to try Umbrella out, like the 2nd Encore DLC characters from the campaign, Umbrella will have her Alpha phase. To gain access to it, players must own the Season Pass on Steam.

In the Alpha phase, players who own the Season Pass on Steam will gain access to playing an incomplete Umbrella that includes sketchy frames, meaning that she is still early in development, as well as a sneek peek at her stage, but she won't be available al a carte until her Beta phase. Similar to playing Justice Sword upon Annie's entrance after the death of a teammate and as a point character at the beginning of the match while watching streams, it is the perfect opportunity to play Active Angel upon Umbrella's entrance after the death of a teammate and as a point character at the beginning of the match while watching streams regardless of her incomplete status because a character's Alpha phase will launch with the specified theme to be played upon their entrance.

A character's Alpha phase will launch with the following goals that are already met.

-Basic attack animations
-Character sigil
-Action and lineup shots
-Temporary banner for NMO Arena
-Distortion Finish outline of a victim animation
-BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle character theme to be played upon their entrance (i.e. Active Angel on Umbrella's entrance)

In order for a character to enter Beta phase, they must have the following goals met.

-Fully recorded and integrated voice acting
-Complete moveset consisting of several unique attacks, 6-7 special moves and 3 Distortion Drives
-All sketchy animations and frames fully tied down and colored
-Fully integrated and tuned up unique sound and visual effects
-Official banner for NMO Arena
-An early version of their stage for a certain character

Because Umbrella is gonna be played during the Alpha phase by players who own the Season Pass on Steam while some of her animations are sketchy and not yet fully completed, she will be legal in select Skullgirls tournaments until her Beta phase, in which Umbrella will be legal in most Skullgirls tournaments, because once a character enters Beta, they will be available a la carte in digital stores and will be legal in most tournaments. Getting the sketchy frames tied down and colored takes a long time, but not with a little teamwork, it doesn't.

The outline of the release that is subject to change is how it works; Umbrella's Alpha phase will lead up to her Early Access Beta phase where she will be available both in the Season Pass and a la carte with all of her animations that are fully colored and finished, as well as her complete moveset, fully voiced gameplay and bevies of planned general gameplay changes coming in Q3 of this year, similar to Annie, but that might change that her story might be available in Early Access.

Once they are finished with tuning and adjustments and a bevy of Beta changes have been finalized and transferred into the retail version, the only phase left is her official launch on Steam, PS4 and Switch that comes with her story and content, including her Japanese voice and trials coming in Q4 of this year, similar to Annie's full release, which is on the horizon and that's when the Adventures of Parasoul & Umbrella becomes a thing. We might have hints to DLC3 by then. Just two more characters to go. A bonus fifth character will be confirmed if the Season 1 Pass sells well.

To ease the wait for the Alpha phase, the devs of Future Club, the developer that is basically the same Lab Zero Games without the involvement of Mike Z have confirmed that they are doing weekly animation streams so we can see how Umbrella is shaping out to be Parasoul's salty sidekick of a sister in development.

It is unclear that the remaining characters to come out next year in 2022 will have their development streams, but we know that every future character must have an Alpha phase, so future characters will have theirs and as I said before, they will come with a sneak peek of their BBTAG character theme that I will play upon their entrance at launch. Well, not a sneak peek, but more like a full listening.

I was surprised that Annie didn't have her Alpha phase because she was developed much further to go straight into her Beta phase. But hey, Justice Sword and Active Angel are where they at. It's a special occasion.

That being said, we got eight characters in the base roster and eight more characters and that makes it 16 total. It is only a matter of time before two more TBA characters get released to make it 18 playable characters.

Also, a warning to all adults: if you try to draw a naked Umbrella or whatever as a special occasion to celebrate her playable debut to Skullgirls, you will be exposed as a pedophile, an adult that does sexual remarks on underage people. If they expose you as a pedophile, there's no getting out of it and the only place you will be going to is jail for all eternity and they will no longer be your friend. This is the worst of all felonies that could get you in maximum trouble to cause your friends to become your enemies, so don't do it.

Not only some songs have been changed in the stage section during MvC2 mode. Umbrella's stage, officially called Boardwalk, also assigned to Active Angel has also been added to the stage section. As a cherry on top, Awakening the Chaos actually fits well with Final Atrium to better reflect the fight against Marie.

Umbrella is no longer in my wish list because she has been revealed as DLC2 of the Season Pass and I have added a couple of characters I wanted in my wish list, making it 17.

And finally, this section formerly known as special solo matches are now lore-based solo matches. Several character themes assigned to certain lore-based solo matches have been added. I have decided to do away with playing Blood Pain for when there is a mirror match. The same goes for when we go to Class Notes for me to relegate to MvC1 mode.

Even though, I'm not sure if Reincarnation fits well with Parasoul vs. Umbrella or not. I better consider that before I finalize it. I mean, they are the finest sisters of the Canopy Kingdom, per se. Honestly, I'm starting to feel like I'm pulling a DC vs. Capcom-style listing when making and updating charts.

Also, I think there is a little fun fact within the lore-based solo matches department. I told you how in JUSTICE fits well with Beowulf vs. Annie. Now let's go over Filia vs. Fukua, assigned to God of War. This song I believe fits well with it, although none of the characters have voice lines specific to Fukua. It is similar to other fated battles, like Ryu vs. Akuma in Street Fighter, Hakumen vs. Susanoo in BlazBlue, Cyborg vs. Grid in Injustice, etc.

That's the prime example of fated battles and there is a challenge that entails that match. Notice this? Once Robo-Fortune is one of the 2nd Encore DLC characters, what do we get? Ms. Fortune vs. Robo-Fortune, assigned to Fatal Judge. Yeah, nice touch on that department, huh? I don't think so.

Well, this wraps up the update on my BBTAG music to Skullgirls chart. Another update on my chart will be posted.

BBTAG Music to SG Chart and Explanation + Fun Fact

Hello there, you awesome people. It's been a while since I made a weekly update, but I'm back with another blog post. You might be familiar with the topic regarding Skullgirls on previous posts. Now, I have an exciting cherry on top announcement to make. Here goes. *ahem*

Alright, so you know how Skullgirls is great, but listening to BlazBlue music is just not nearly enough to spice up the never ending launch party? Well, that's where BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle music comes in.

That's right. This is not a prank, my friend. I am officially shifting to BBTAG music. It has a jukebox feature that has over 60 battle themes taken from BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, RWBY and the EX universes and most of them are even fitting well. I know you are interested in hearing these awesome themes, like A Pure-Hearted Beast, Justice Sword and Forceful Step. And now, you are free to hear them. And forgive me if I pulled a Nevercake when I confirmed it. Before I provide you with a full chart and an explanation, I want to tell you this.

First off, when Skullgirls Encore was released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013, I bought it and played it for a little bit. And then, I thought of something fun. I started listening to BlazBlue music while playing Skullgirls and it turned out well. It started out with playing random themes. Since Annie is making her way to 2nd Encore along with three TBD characters in the Season Pass to also come to Mobile, I told fans that I am looking forward to assign her to Justice Sword as a cherry on top. Basically, if Umbrella finally gets her playable debut, Active Angel will be a cherry on top to garnish her upbeat personality.

But now, I have confirmed that I am shifting to BBTAG music back in the fourth week of March and it's much better, much more unprecedented than with the mainline BlazBlue games and it has multiple flavors. Annie and Umbrella will stay assigned to Justice Sword and Active Angel while some characters are gonna be shifted to the other universes' themes during the BBTAG music period going forward. You'll find out what they are later. I even mentioned that I assigned Ajna from Indivisible to conciliation too, but that will no longer be the case since Indivisible's production has been cancelled and 505 Games had no interest in hiring Future Club despite consisting the same people minus Mike Z. Assigning an Indivisible character to a BBTAG character theme is weird, to be honest.

In BBTAG, the BlazBlue themes, including Justice Sword and Active Angel use a timeless version that play differently than with the mainline BlazBlue games to loop similarly to the Persona 4 Arena and Under Night In-Birth themes. I'll tell you what this means for BBTAG music later on. That said, a SMITE Lore-style fun fact on how Justice Sword fits well with Annie is in the works. Followed by the one about how Active Angel fits well with Umbrella.

With Annie and the three mystery characters in the very first Season Pass coming to Skullgirls after almost a decade and assigning them to BBTAG themes making things hype, the spiced up launch party never ends. Interesting thing to this is it's good enough with playing the mainline games' music during the period when they gave us five crowdfunded 2nd Encore DLC characters. Now it's BBTAG music during the Season 1 Pass period and beyond as a cherry on top. Now that's a unique thing that gets the Team Sonic Racing seal of approval.

Another interesting thing to this is when I assigned the BBTAG themes to characters, stages and special solo matches, I felt some Super Smash Flash 2 and some Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing vibes. Both on the original and Transformed. On the characters section, it given me some Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing vibes because you know how you have to unlock the characters in both games and they have their own jingles that play during their All-Star Move like in WWE: Day of Reckoning for the Gamecube and in Whacked! for the original Xbox?

When there is a Season Pass character in game, I play their theme upon their entrance after a death of a teammate or as a point character. They are unlocked by either purchasing the Season Pass or the character individually. That's how the characters section has given me some Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing vibes. Basically, it is also giving me some Team Sonic Racing vibes.

And now, without further ado, here is the chart divided into sections consisting of characters, stages and special solo matches and the explanation on how I play the music of Arc System Works' acclaimed all-star team-based fighting game, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle to Autumn Games' acclaimed indie game, Skullgirls.

This chart explains how do I assign BBTAG songs to characters, stages and lore-based solo matches. There are 16 in the characters section, 21 in the stages section and 12 in the special solo matches section, making it 59 in total. I've also threw in colored dots that represent universes. The blue dot is for BlazBlue songs. The yellow dot is for P4A songs. The purple dot is for UNI songs. The red dot is for RWBY songs and the pink dot is for Arcana Heart songs.

Remember what I said that you are free to listen to A Pure-Hearted Beast, Justice Sword and Forceful Step? Well, these are the three themes I can completely agree with. I'll go into detail here. A Pure Hearted Beast is because like Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4, Beowulf wields his chair he called it the Hurting. For Justice Sword, Annie wields a sword with cosmic energy. And lastly, Forceful Step is because of the Living Weapon hat with giant arms Cerebella wields. Pretty much. This is how BBTAG music is much more unprecedented. Again, forgive me if I pulled a Nevercake impression. So put down Overwatch Cross Team Deathmatch. We're playing BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle music now.

Since Skullgirls uses 2D sprites and team-based elements inspired by Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2, as well as other team-based fighting games in the 90s, MvC1 mode is the character section while MvC2 mode is the stage section. I call them that because MvC1 uses character themes while MvC2 uses stage themes. I wouldn't consider Skullgirls a Marvel vs. Capcom game or whatever despite some characters having moves that are similar to the ones you'd see in Marvel vs. Capcom games, like Bionic Arms, Hidden Missiles, Berserker Barages, etc. That's why they're called functions. I wouldn't even consider myself a Nevercake function when I officially confirmed this. If one of the Season 1 Pass characters is revealed to be a function, I am interested in that.

Now let's get to the nitty-gritty on explaining how do I provide the music output. I'll explain on the characters section first. Because Skullgirls doesn't use character themes that MvC1 and MvC3 use, as well as several other fighting games that use character themes, I assign the characters to their BBTAG character themes as a garnishment varying by personality among their sigils, action shots and posters. Here's how it goes.

-character theme- plays when...

--character name- is in point position on the Player 2 side at the beginning of the match
--character name- in mid position comes in when any other character in point position dies

-character theme- stops playing when...

--character name- or any other character in point position dies and any other character in mid position comes in

-character theme- still plays when...

--character name- dies while performing their assist.
--character name- in mid position comes in when any other character in point position dies while their theme for the mid character plays.

This is exactly what Marvel vs. Capcom 1, 3 and Infinite do while DBFZ and BBTAG don't. What I mentioned above. But on solo matches, -character theme- will stay on when -character- is on the Player 2 side like Street Fighter IV and V, Bloody Roar 1 and 2, Samurai Shodown and Nitroplus Blasterz, except on lore-based situations, which I'll explain later. So here.

Filia = Spirited Girl
Cerebella = Forceful Step
Peacock = Kuma Kuma Circus!
Parasoul = Missions for the Brilliant Executor
Ms. Fortune = Alexandrite
Painwheel = Rebellion
Beowulf = A Pure-Hearted Beast
Annie = Justice Sword

And the following themes above as an example fit really well with the following characters. This is so much better. I'm gonna spice up the ongoing Skullgirls launch party with BBTAG music (mostly on MvC1 mode) going forward as this is the fresh new arc of playing and spectating Skullgirls while listening to other games music since Team Sonic Racing.

Shifting to BBTAG music offers benefits. The BlazBlue themes in BBTAG, including Justice Sword, play differently, BBTAG has multiple universes and some characters are shifted to the other universes' themes, like Beowulf, who has shifted from REPPUU to A Pure-Hearted Beast, a Persona 4 Arena theme and certain characters, like Cerebella, who remained unassigned in the BlazBlue music period are assigned to a theme in the BBTAG music period. What a bargain! So that's four benefits in shifting to BBTAG music. Now that's a unique deal that gets the Team Sonic Racing seal of approval.

Also, when there is a special solo battle, I play the specified themes in the lore-based solo matches section, which will play for the remainder of that match. I did that with one while watching Skullgirls Slapfest last Tuesday. Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and other ArcSys fighting games have that.

I heard most people like solo matches better because of the blue health bar that represents that down period, like in Darkstalkers and use canon ones.

In case you didn't notice while looking at the special solo matches section, I also threw in a little spoiler.

That's right, I created a new section that has characters in my wish list I assigned BBTAG songs to with the brown dot representing Akatsuki Blitztank songs. My wish list above has 15 characters I want for 2nd Encore that I assigned BBTAG songs to. If the three (four if the Season Pass sells well) mystery characters in the Season Pass are revealed to be the above characters in my wish list, I will move them to the characters section.

Thanks to assigning the Skullgirls characters to BBTAG songs, it'll spice things up, similar to Marvel vs. Capcom 1, 3 and Infinite, as well as Dead or Alive and Street Fighter IV and V, which also have an option for the in-game music to play for characters or stages. Plus, it fits well even more.

And finally, for the stage output. It's simple; as an example, if I choose my favorite stage, NMO Arena, I turn on The Tyrant. That theme will stay playing for the remainder of that match. And that's just it. It's just a simple explanantion. It'll work on both team and solo matches. But I'm gonna stick with MvC1 mode, the character department.

Plus, it also works while watching Skullgirls streams. I'll be playing BBTAG music on MvC1 mode while watching the streams, expecting more Annie gameplay to come so I can play Justice Sword upon her entrance. Especially on big tournaments that Mike Z won't be a part of in commentary because of his indefinite ban from future Skullgirls tournaments after his inappropriate behavior he made against his employees to make Lab Zero Games unsafe. All future Skullgirls tournaments have no place in commentary for Mike because of his indefinite ban. This is why if people want to join tournaments and such, they must conduct their actions discreetly.

Mike's indiscreet actions that made Lab Zero Games unsafe couldn't stop me from playing BBTAG music. In fact, it is bigger than any other individual. It'll take more than one unacceptable individual to stop me from it. You know what's bullcrap? 2020 became the worst year not just because of the pandemic, but also because of allegations of sexual abuse against individuals I experienced.

Remember the situation involving Mr. Wiz? He was accused of sexual misconduct by Crackpr0n after he revealed that he paid young boys tokens to take their clothes off and do dirty stuff at an arcade joint and he paid the accuser $20 to show his penis at the arcade's restroom. Absolute pedophile/child groomer. Most organizers had to enforce core values on their tournaments they hosted just to state that sexual abuse or some sort doesn't have any place in their environment and it counters their mission and their discretion to build a safe and welcoming environment.

And then, the BBTAG version of in JUSTICE fitting well with Beowulf vs. Annie is basically Sonic X. They should put clashed. They should clash each other, because how in JUSTICE fits really well with this 1v1 match is that Beowulf and Annie have Bionic Arm-esque fatal counter-inducing Distortion Drives in their moveset that don't even clash, but deal the same amount of damage.

Honestly, I don't think that someone who wants to buy Annie and the Ferocious Wolfman on Blu-Ray and DVD would drive to Best Buy or Walmart to buy it. It's like raising a golden staff with a pink gem on top that Aphrodite wields in SMITE or going through heck beating that level in Super Monkey Ball. You know what's funny? I say "fatal!" every time a heavy counter hit has been recorded, just like in BlazBlue.

And that about does it for this explanation. An update will be posted when the next Season 1 Pass character is revealed. This is a rough first pass, so this chart will change.

Now, before I wrap this up, it's time for the first SMITE Lore-style fun fact on assigning the Skullgirls characters to BBTAG themes. But before I get to it, I'll tell you this. My way of writing fun facts on how a BBTAG character theme fits well with Skullgirls will have their lore that benefits assigning a character to a BBTAG character theme and that's what the series is gonna be called; Skullgirls Lore. Anyway, on to the first Skullgirls Lore on how Justice Sword fits well with the one and only Annie of the Stars with the intro before it.

Long ago, there was once a fighting game that my local movie theater made me think of at night because of its art deco aesthetic, which the buildings in New York have and filmstrips on screen called Skullgirls. Unfortunately, it has ended development after the Japanese voice patch. Then all of a sudden, it's back in development and it's getting more characters this year and onwards through its first ever Season Pass that has four new characters. Now, listen carefully. *ahem*

Alright, so... you know how Skullgirls 2nd Encore suspended development over four and a half years ago? Well, that's where Annie comes in. Assigned to Justice Sword. You see, fiercer than she looks, bravest in all of the cosmos, Annie is a lot of things. A star, a child, a celebrity, a relative of Sol Badguy, probably. She wields her sword. Her Azure Grimoire. No, a magical sword with cosmic powers. No, she's not a Grim Reaper. And no, her sword doesn't suck souls. Though the blade of her sword has the same shape as the blade of Ragna the Bloodedge's sword, but different in size.

Annie is a Star Child and her sword possesses Star Power, which temporarily enhances all of her moves similar to the Overdrive mechanic first featured in Chrono Phantasma. Except it isn't because all of her normals and unique attacks shoot stars out of her sword. Assigned to a BlazBlue theme, she is the embodiment of a spatial being. She is honor. She is courage. She is science fiction. For you see, she wants to embrace the power of the stars because you know, the whole cosmic justice thing. That's what makes Justice Sword a perfect fit for a TV star, hence "sword" in the name of the theme.

Anyway, Annie and her TV senpai Beowulf both starred in her popular kids show, Annie of the Stars. Together, they share bonds working with each other. Beowulf plays the bad Wulfman, the villain of Annie's beloved TV show. A howl has surged when he came out of retirement, so Annie decided to do a rumble with him. Now, since Annie is making her playable debut 2nd Encore, I get to play the BBTAG version of in JUSTICE during the 1v1 fight between Beowulf and Annie as a cherry on top. What a bargain!

For centuries, Annie is cursed by the Skull Heart to never grow up. That's how she gets alive for centuries, so she sets out to find the Skull Heart's power source and destroy it to lift her curse, which is impossible. When night comes, you see all that glowing glitter in the night sky, which is stars, but Annabella herself is all that glitters is gold and the only star that shines brighter, with her green hair, her sword with cosmic powers and Sagan, her remote Parasite of an anthropomorphic bunny. Since her sword of justice is a prized posession, evil can't escape cosmic justice and she holds such power. You know, like the Sealed-Weapon Izayoi? Just to fight for justice and defy gravity.

Well, Annie is not the Sealed-Weapon Izayoi, and I don't know if you know this, but it's freaking stellar, so she has a feel of thinking of her associated with some movie theaters at nighttime, which is a ceiling printed with stars. Even her stage is a set where she shoots her beloved TV show. If Annie of the Stars was a real TV show on Netflix or on Paramount+, count me in.

And if Skullgirls is getting the cinematic Them's Fightin' Herds-style lv. 5 supers, oh, you better watch out because she'll bring her opponents down to oblivion with her outrageous Galactic Judgment, which requires Star Power. Especially Double, probably. And I'm not talking about an RPG of the Elder Scrolls franchise. I'm talking about that Annie will literally pulverize you into pure dust! Pure space dust, I tell you! And if she does, you're gonna regret it because Annie would make a great character for BBTAG. Since Annie wields her sword, I made her on Soul Calibur VI.

Even though, Annie was a guest character in Indivisible, now scrapped, along with Shantae, Shovel Knight and the others because of the dissolution of Lab Zero Games at the hands of Mike Z. I know there is a few minority of people who were looking forward to the Shovel Knight gameplay in Indivisible after he trended on Twitter. One of the lines reads "Scrapped playable character for Indivisible." Seeing that made people very upset with Mike Z. It's not cool. Not when people were hyped to play Shovel Knight in Indivisible and when I wanted Ajna to be in the Skullgirls universe.

But still, her launch on Skullgirls Mobile became a huge success and her playable debut to 2nd Encore is inevitable with Justice Sword as a cherry on top. Forget Izayoi. Now introducing the Sealed-Weapon Annie, a star child reborn!

So, if you see someone cosplaying as Annie, be sure to give her an autograph and ask her how her friendship between her and Beowulf is coming along.

Weekly Update - 3/7/21

Hello, everyone. I'm back with another weekly update. Happy Sunday and happy March. I hope you guys are warming up, because Spring is around the corner and Daylight Saving Time is exactly a week away.

Let's start with the elephant in the room, an update regarding Skullgirls followed by my long rant about the director of Lab Zero Games who sexually harassed his employees and destroyed the company by laying off his staff.

The Annie update has came out couple days ago, along with the balance changes during Early Access on Steam. The devs stated that her full release is set to happen in May, for Steam and PS4. Nintendo Switch players, however, will have to wait a while longer due to technical issues. Other platforms like PS3, PSVita and Xbox 360 won't get the update and once the PS4 version has the update which should've been had in the first place, it won't cross-play with PS3 and PSVita.

I am beyond stoked to see Annie in action, but apparently, there was no Skullgalz Showdown last week, which sucks like heck. But on the upside, the upcoming Skullgirls Slapfest is set to go live Tuesday and I will see Annie in action, and experiencing sexual themes won't be a problem when it comes to sexual harassment. Anyway, I have exciting news to make, so listen up. *ahem*

Alright, so you know how Skullgirls stayed alive depite that fiasco so that we can still get Annie and that 16th playable character, but could probably still need more characters after them to expand the roster even further? Well, that's where the Season 1 Pass comes in.

That's right. Annie won't be the only new character because not one, not two, but three more TBA characters are coming to 2nd Encore through its very first Season Pass that is intended to extend the roster to 18 playable characters and it's available now on Steam and it gets available on PS4 in May and on Switch at a later date. Accordingly, the second character will be out this year while the last two characters will come out next year in 2022. I seriously hope the next character is Umbrella because not only she and Annie are spotted in the PS4 theme art. It's also because she is getting saltier as time goes by. Forgive me if I pulled a Nevercake.

Not only that because Hidden Variable is working with Future Club on the development of Annie and the upcoming characters and content included in Skullgirls' first ever Season Pass. Future Club is basically the same Lab Zero Games without Mike Z and they can work with Hidden Variable without experiencing that crap he has pulled. This is why sexual harassment has no place in their environment, but sexual themes have a place in some video games.

Did I forgot to mention? Remember the campaign that given Skullgirls five 2nd Encore DLC characters? They did an offer that they are gonna be free for a limited time. But on the Season Pass characters, it'll be a different story because once Annie and the TBA characters are released, they will be priced regularly.

The remaining three mystery characters will also make their playable debut to the Mobile spin-off. Plus, a 5th character to expand the roster to 19 playable characters will be revealed if the Season Pass sells well, but due to Lab Zero Games' fallout and 505 Games not hiring Future Club, the 5th character in the Season Pass won't be Indivisible's Ajna.

I wanted her to be in the Skullgirls universe, just like Es from Xblaze in the BlazBlue universe, the Joker in the Mortal Kombat 11 universe, etc., but all hope for it is now scrapped and Ajna is no longer in my wish list because of it. I even assigned her to conciliation, Es' theme. But despite that, I am still buying the Season Pass on day one the moment it gets available on PS4 if it means trying Annie and the TBA characters out.

In short, Annie will fully release on PC and PS4 in May and on Nintendo Switch in a later date due to technical issues, but the PS3, PSVita and Xbox 360 versions won't get it. I sincerely hope they release Skullgirls 2nd Encore on the Xbox One so that all four consoles have it and we can get full cross-play between all platforms as a cherry on top if Hidden Variable confirmed it because it has been stuck in limbo on the Xbox 360 version for almost eight years as you are still seeing the Xbox 360 logo on the website.

Once she does, I will do a degree that I will explain in a later blog post.

If case if some of you are out of the loop, during the Once More Once Top 8 tournament streamed by BG Calisto, Mike has made a joke about George Floyd's death at the hands of Derek Chauvin on stream and the "he can't breathe" phrase was his last words. A white cop killing a black person is not something to joke about. It is dark and sacred that if you make a joke about a white cop killing a black person on stream, I fear that it will cause people to uninstall the game.

But he immediately apologized about making an egregious joke and after overlooking the message, I understand what he meant by "much too soon." He meant that he should've waited until after the stream before making that joke. In fact, making an egregious joke about a white cop killing a black person is dark.

I was thinking of listening to BBTAG music while playing and spectating 2nd Encore and watching streams and after mentioning that I have assigned Ajna to conciliation, I am debating that if I should play BBTAG music, as an occasion to spice up the ongoing Skullgirls launch party or not now that the game is continuing development under the Hidden Variable and Future Club umbrellas following the disbandment from Mike Zaimont. Both for 2nd Encore and Mobile. If confirmed, I will assign the characters, stages and canon solo matches to the themes and a full chart will be provided later on. But here's a sneek peek.

Annie = Justice Sword
Umbrella = Active Angel
Minette = Crystal Forest
Yu Wan = STAND UNRIVALED
Hubrecht = The Tyrant
Roxie = Seeker of Truth
Aeon = Snow Sisters

Since Skullgirls has a different situation, it stays alive because Autumn Games is the critically acclaimed publisher that owns their critically acclaimed IP, not Lab Zero Games nor Mike Z, which is the only safe indication that we are still getting Annie and the TBA characters regardless of the dissolution of Lab Zero Games.

Personally, I am pretty darn glad that Skullgirls gets to stay alive so we can still get Annie of the Stars and other characters and it has given me the golden opportunity to debate on deejaying BBTAG music or not to spice up the launch party and support not only Umbrella, but also Minette to get her playable debut. But pretty darn sad that Indivisible couldn't and won't receive a major update ever again. All because one bad apple has destroyed the whole company. The 15 characters were actually done, waiting to be implemented after years of hard work, but Mike just... killed it? What a freaking absolute piece of crap of a scumbag.

Despite Lab Zero Games' fallout, the Skullgirls launch party never ends so we can keep getting new content for years to come. So will playing the music of Arc System Works' acclaimed and magical 2v2 all-star fighting game, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, if I confirmed it.

And Mike, what the heck. What the heck. Seriously, though. You should've resigned so Lab Zero would go back to normal. You have earned an indefinite ban from all commentary positions and a two year ban from competeing in future Skullgirls tournaments. Are you kidding me? You have been banned from commentary indefinetely for sexual harassment? I don't believe this. A two year ban from competing is reasonable, but a permanent ban from commentary? That's just too extreme.

Not to mention that you implemented much improved netplay and lobbies to PC, and that's something we console players should've gotten when you resigned. I mean come on, it allows us to play online with players from farther away and provided us completely clean lobbies. We console players should've gotten that when you resigned. But no, we couldn't.

You also have implemented the patch to PC that is inspired by last year's Combo Breaker, which didn't happen because of the pandemic. The Combo Breaker thing contains death noises for when they are KOed in the air, mobile spin-off intros for the rest of the characters, a new stage from the mobile spin-off, No Man's Land, new and returning palettes to make a total of 40 additional palettes, including the ones on the Switch version and the ones on the mobile spin-off and tons of balance changes. So yeah, yeah, we console players should've gotten that update too when you just resigned.

I mean, come on, you confirmed rollback netcode to be implemented to Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus on Steam. You should've done that in the first place before you committed sexual harassment to your darn staff. You blatantly started this fire. Why are you implementing it after you sexually harassed your employees then? Why not just be a craphead to ArcSys, like your retarded stupid butt does?

I mean, seriously, you should've at least implemented rollback netcode to Accent Core Plus on Steam before you committed sexual harassment. You should've at least... at least resign so we console players can get everything implemented on PC. This is bull! This is straight up bull! And... I guess the process of bringing the stuff implemented on PC to consoles is put on hold until Annie comes out in May on PS4 and in the later date on Switch because Lab Zero has gone defunct.

Seriously, Mike, what the heck. I kept looking at it and... we Skullgirls console players should've gotten a ton of stuff you implemented on PC if you just cut your losses and resigned from Lab Zero Games. In fact, if you can't say anything nice and pleasant to anyone to avoid sexual harassment, don't say anything at all, instead of frequently spouting your stupid little "oh, listen to me, I have penis and vagina memes and sales" thing. You have been indefinitely banned from commentating in future Skullgirls tournaments. There is no excuse.

Indivisible's production has been kaput? Are you kidding me? This is just freaking ridiculous. Seriously, Mike, what the heck. I keep thinking about it more. You should've at least put a big middle finger on your employees and resigned from Lab Zero Games so Indivisible would continue getting future content. Guest characters, backer-created characters and so on. Where is your freaking respect? I mean, seriously, the devs confirmed that 15 characters that ware waiting to be implemented were finished, but because of your actions, all of their hard work that took blood, sweat and tears has been kaput. All because you refused to leave the game industry.

That also includes the TV show adaptation exclusively on Peacock, and that's something that should've stayed in production if you resigned. I mean, come on, it's only based on the game. It should've stayed in production when you resigned. But no, it's no longer in production because your staff cut ties with you and formed Future Club, a new development studio, which 505 Games have no interest in hiring them.

In fact, Lab Zero was not the first company that is in partnership with Autumn Games to go defunct because Reverge Labs have went defunct and Konami doesn't have any intentions of being involved in their IP. You are one of the alleged people who have caused sexual harassment and it's not an excusable behavior. There are others that have been alleged for sexual behavior if you look up examples of those cases.

A former EVO president, Joey "Mr. Wiz" Cuellar has been arrested for sexual exploitations on little boys, being a pedophile from messing with little boys' ineffable body parts. Now he is no longer welcome at EVO in any capacity while he has been replaced with Tony Cannon to act as CEO for this year and beyond after he put a huge hamartia on EVO by being a pedophile that people has claimed. Now don't give me that bullcrap because it's true. I witnessed it firsthand since sexy fighting games like Dead or Alive 6 have elements that are NSFW and the stream has temporarily ended for their safety and they don't want their streams to be in an NC-17 territory.

It's great that you apologized for making an "I can't breathe" joke while saying inappropriate things to Bunny and Grey isn't that bad. I can understand that, but sexual harassment against your staff is just freaking unforgivable and too extreme, enough to put an Achilles' heel on the company. And now, they left and pledged not to work in a company where you'll have any part of because of your sexual offense. In fact, people, including myself have pledged to keep supporting Skullgirls on the behalf of your employees who left Lab Zero and formed Future Club, Hidden Variable and Autumn, not on your behalf. So don't even give me that bullcrap that I shouldn't be dissing on you because if this is something we must boycott, I have rights to diss on those who committed such extreme actions. Don't even think for a darn second that you are cool.

Dignified companies like Hi-Rez Studios and others didn't have a single person that has committed sexual harassment and abuse. Don't even stand a freaking chance because of the way they bring upcoming and continuous updates to live servers on both PC and consoles simultaneously. And that's the truth that until Annie comes out, we Skullgirls console players are behind, and that just ticks the heck out of me.

Nothing to do with the fact that Tiamat has came out on SMITE, on both PC and consoles simultaneously and I get to put her in action after my God Wheel has landed her name for the first time. Just because all of their games are so free-to-play that a paid membership isn't required for them on consoles and they give us new characters continuously doesn't mean they can absolve you of being a jerk. Everyone has the right to work in a safe environment and sexual harassment is an unforgivable offense to make people uncomfortable.

I can understand that you are autistic, but just because you're autistic doesn't mean you are excused because autism is not an excuse for egregious actions, like sexual harassment, child pornography, bullying, plagiarism, copyright infringement and others, just like with egregious fouls on the NBA, like pushing, blocking, reach-in and charging. Heck, SonicFox is autistic and he has not sexually harassed a single person. That's proof right there that people who are sexually harassed has pledged not to work with the person that created an Achilles' heel on the environment.

So yeah, yeah, I hope you're happy with the way you wanted, Mike; sexually harassing your employees to create a hamartia, an unsafe environment that made them uncomfortable on Lab Zero, leaving us console players behind until Annie comes out in May on PS4 and in a later date on Switch, getting banned from commentating permanently and banned for two years from competing in Skullgirls tournaments and killing Indivisible, just by laying off your employees instead of resigning like you promised. Now you look like a darn loser all alone out there working in your little studio that nobody will ever work in with you.

You can just go frick yourself until you learn not to say anything at all if you can't say anything nice, instead of just frequently mentioning ineffable body parts to anyone on the country, including Bunny, Grey and your employees who left Lab Zero and started their fresh new development studio where you won't be a part of. Don't give me that bullcrap.

Now with that rant out of the way, let's talk Nintendo. I was in the middle of playing Super Mario 64 on Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It is a collection that contains three full games, 64, Sunshine and Galaxy. There are a couple of flaws to it, though. The collection lasts for a limited time and will go away in the end of March and neither one of them are fully remastered in HD like the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane and Spyro Reignited Trilogies.

Currently, I'm on 64, getting every Power Star. The left analog stick of my Joy Con has a little problem. It keeps drifting on me, meaning that the cursor and the characters move on its own without me inputting a direction. I think it's a technical issue for some Switch owners on Nintendo's end. I used rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and did exactly what the instructions told me to do. Apparently, this method has made the drifting issues worse. I'm down to only one option; ordering a replacement kit I need to replace my drifting analog stick. So until I get the drifting issue resolved, I won't be playing on the Switch. In fact, I won't get to try out the Bravely Default II Final Demo before playing the full game.

That's all I have to say for this update to let you guys know what's going on this week with my angry rant about how angry I am about Mike Zaimont's sexual harassment behavior that spiraled out of madness and caused Lab Zero to go defunct. Except that I don't use bad words like they do. As always, the moral of the story is, never sexually harass your friends and family, by frequently mentioning ineffable private parts or making jokes about them to anyone. That's the definition of sexual harassment and that egregious behavior could get you boycotted.

As I said before, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all to avoid making inappropriate sexual comments. In fact, future Skullgirls tournaments are starting to boycott Mike Zaimont of his commentary position because of sequences of sexual harassment and disrespectful and abusive actions, but next year, his suspension from competing will be rescinded.

Basically, I will start assigning BBTAG songs to Skullgirls characters, stages and certain solo matches to spice things up and it could circle around the Earth, even though we console players behind until Annie comes out in May on PS4 and in the later date on Switch. All because the employees of Lab Zero cut ties with Mike after they claimed him as a sexual harasser and left the company to form Future Club. Not to mention he scrapped my hope of Ajna from Indivisible to be in the Skullgirls story. It just ticks me off. So freaking retarded.

Random Wheels Update 2

Alright, everyone. I have another update regarding my random wheels. Before we get to the nitty gritty, if you read our previous update, all of my wheels have one ??? placeholder and the hint for it is this year's new characters. Take a look.

That's right. This year's new characters, Tiamat, Octavia and Seeker have been determined as the final starter characters to complete the initial random wheels. They are initially settled and ready for PvP. As stated, I can't add any more characters until the PvP phase is done.

Did I forgot to mention that I have added more characters to my wheels that restrict to the characters whose High-Ends I owned? There are 21 Gods and 20 Champions, with the difference of one character. If there is at least one skin I owned for one of my characters, I add their name. I'll use them for part A in phases during my degree. Here's how the degree works.

SMITE:

Phase 0A: Play any number of bot matches while using the wheel restricted to Gods whose High-Ends that are owned. Landed Gods can only be play once.

Phase 0B: Play any number of bot matches while using the wheel open to all starter Gods. Landed Gods can only be played once.

Also, I have learned about this. Remember the landed characters on the wheel method I was telling you about? That method I've been using consists of switching from general to landed and vice versa, which is a bit of a pain, so I decided to do away with that method and stick with the simple spinning method. This decision is in preparation of general Character Pools for SMITE and Paladins.

Now, before I sign out, I wanna tell you this. If you watched the Update Show last week, Paladins is getting a new Damage Champion, Octavia. After five years, we are finally getting a new (and presumably the first) Champion that starts with an "O". The update also comes with the very first Event Pass and the new Trials of the Realm to replace the Battle Pass challenges system. They have confirmed that they are gonna give us a blog post explaining the Event Pass and Trials of the Realm this week. Once the update comes out, I will get started with the degree in putting my starter wheels to the test.
