Joe's Monologues - 11/26/23

We are nearing the end of November and approaching December and I hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving, just eating that wonderful turkey, getting lethargic and exercising to combat that. It is time for today's episode of Joe's Monologues and this one is gonna be interesting. Let's dive right in.

The Story in SMITE Pro League Season X So Far:

During the course of the SPL Road to Worlds Playoffs, the four teams have been determined and they are the Ferrymen, Leviathans, Warriors and Dragons. These four teams earned their spot at Worlds and we'll see them in Texas. But their seeding has not yet been determined, so in order to determine the seeding, they must finish their matches.

One of the exciting things is that on Game 2 of the match between the Oni Warriors and the Jade Dragons, the only matchup we see often because of Christmas colors, the Dragons were on the verge of getting themselves on the board and momentum was on their side too. But a clutch moment has happened as the Warriors managed to make a comeback after a series of objective steals. It was a clutch moment the Oni Warriors would create and I was flabbergasted to experience that. And for the umpteenth time, the Warriors have beat the Dragons 3-0, courtesy of Pegon, who was right about 3-0'ing the Dragons. And their theme song is fire, by the way and you'll hear it at Worlds because they have qualified.

Moving on to the another interesting moment for that final match of Playoffs, the match between the Styx Ferrymen and the Atlantis Leviathans. Game 4 almost lasted an hour. They were playing tennis in that longest game almost lasted an hour. But the Leviathans managed to finally clutch it out to take us to Game 5. The torture becomes enjoyable and I was shocked about that.

In the end, the seeding has been determined. The Styx Ferrymen are at 1st seed, Atlantis Leviathans are at 2nd seed, Oni Warriors are at 3rd seed and Jade Dragons are at 4th seed for Worlds. They are no doubt going to Arlington, Texas where the Esports Arena is at.

But the road will not stop here because this is part one of the Road to SWC Playoffs so part two will be the SMITE Circuit Playoffs.

Worlds is around the corner and I can't wait until I see who is crowned Season X World Champions. I got the popcorn prepared for the big show, but it's gonna be for Grand Finals. It is like one of the moments I experienced when watching EVO, like when they are crowned champions, smoke and confetti shoot out.

The previous SMITE World Championship felt like WWE because each of the qualified teams have theme songs since it took place at the Esports Arena in Arlington. Even the Camelot Kings theme song sounds so epic and the Tartarus Titans theme song felt like Guilty Gear with its rock cadence. I have a feeling that the upcoming SWC is gonna feel like WWE by playing theme songs for qualified teams and preparing better titantrons for them.

One of the moments that I'll miss the most is when they had SMITE and Paladins esports divided into their sides. It was a best moment back in the day. And now, where it stands, it is no longer the case because Paladins esports has been discontinued back in 2021 due to its shift to its communal and independent structure and approach to cause the stream team and AoC to cease operations. I loved the Paladins Stream Team and its esports, but since they are now sunset, it's for the better, so all eyes on the SMITE Stream Team and esports going forward.

Getting a High-End Computer:

Of course, you know that I'll be getting a high-end computer so that my Steam games can run smoothly. I postponed going full blast on Steam for the same reason. A high-end computer is something I wanted to get and now that I'm almost there, it is happening soon. I'll be looking forward to playing my Steam games on it. But first and foremost, I got to do a stream test to see if my streaming quality is excellent. It should be because a high-end computer has better specs than low-end computers. I am looking for the one that has a good amount of hertz.

Remembering My Time at Capcom-Unity:

I haven't talked about Capcom-Unity for a long time here, but now, here we are. When I first signed up for Capcom-Unity, I came across a user who made wish lists for more vs. Capcom games. I was looking at them. While I was there, I found traces came from a banned user who was discussing MvC3. It became a good riddance because they were annoying and wanting a mode that nobody wants.

I even made friends with those on the general thread where we can talk about whatever we want. I miss the good old days.

And now, here we are. The forums and the user system were sunset and Capcom-Unity becomes a news and updates-only website. It's a new platform that doesn't support the user system. I was able to make a final blog post there before the maintenance started. I will never see the vs. Capcom game blogs ever again since the shift to a new platform doesn't support users and forums. No, we have not been banned from that site because the site made changes to become news and updates only.

All of my blog posts were also deleted on the shift and I can agree because the older ones are no longer reverent to me. Even the vs. game blog posts that I don't want to talk about. But Capcom-Unity, it is now a news and updates-centric site to not support the user system and forums.

Days of PlayStation Past:

I am officially doing some throwback streams where I stream my PlayStation oldies I played back in the day. Sony adds more PlayStation classics every month and November's additions are interesting. The first Grandia for the PS1 and PaRappa the Rapper 2 for the PS2 were added. This is an interesting development that I can agree, even though they are not on my wish list. I have created a gamelist of classic games I played back in the day titled "PlayStation Oldies". I have five of them and they are all first-party, but that is not nearly enough, so I need more of them and third-party games will also be involved. I plan to purchase them so that I can play them 24/7 without a PS Plus Premium membership.

Have you heard of Checkered Past on Adult Swim? The throwback stream is officially called Days of PlayStation Past. The name indicates a series of streaming PlayStation games from back in the day originally released on the PS1, PS2 and PSP and it doesn't have to be just first-party. It can also be both first-party and third-party. PS3, however, will not be part of the throwback stream due to the PS3 games being only available to stream.

SEGA vs. Capcom: The Next Level:

Progress on the fan project is coming along nicely. The UI has been updated and four more characters have been added. There is an interesting development to this. Ikemen GO now supports 3D stages and it's an improvement over 2D stages. The devs have done a great job putting a lot of effort. Justin Wong is even interested in a fan game as I am. He has a video up on YouTube.

Of course, we would experience something that Marvel vs. Capcom offered. I even heard the 1tth and 12th characters are in the works. I wonder who they are. We'll see who they are soon. If you enjoyed Smash and Project X Zone, SEGA vs. Capcom: The Next Level is the way.

Them's Fightin' Herds:

The balance patch for Them's Fightin' Herds dropped a couple days ago and it adds a new mechanic, Armor Break. Certain moves can break through their armor and it's similar to Mortal Kombat 11's Armor Break mechanic. It's a good addition to it. Also, Nidra is still slated to release early next year and she's not the only one because the fourth and final Season 1 Pass character has been revealed in their 8th development update to be Baihe, Tianhuo's dragon sister that is a zoner. In addition, both Nidra and Baihe will drop on the same day.

And they stated on what this means for the future of an animal fighting game. After the Season 1 Pass is complete, they made a difficult decision to cease active development on TFH. This unfortunately means no new content, like the Season 2 Pass will be implemented, including Story Mode. It has been an important mode they have been working on. Chapter 2 starring Velvet is under production, but because they are ceasing development once the Season 1 Pass is completed, Story Mode will remain unfinished forever. Hearing that has disappointed me and the other players and it is no different than Smash Ultimate and other fighting games that are not getting new content.

I am sorry that Story Mode is gonna remain unfinished forever since they are ceasing development on the game after completing the Season 1 Pass despite them being a part of Modus. They shouldn't be ceasing development when Story Mode is unfinished. I am glad the active development of Skullgirls is continuing for years to come. It is not ceasing development anytime soon. Especially when I wanted crossplay, the Season 2 Pass and CPU vs. CPU battles to be implemented. It's something that SEGA vs. Capcom: The Next Level would embrace.

Super Mario RPG:

And finally, I'm gonna talk about the remake of an SNES release called Super Mario RPG. It is the very first RPG set in the Mario universe. It's the same game, but it got a remake on the Switch. The game was good. The story has insanely cinematic cutscenes and the combat possibilities are endless. For some reason, it feels like Honkai: Star Rail, but with Mario in terms of how RPGs go, but I was able to beat Super Mario RPG. I can see how Square Enix teamed up with Nintendo to remake the SNES classic.

It is the first RPG in the Mario universe, yes, but you know what I want in the second one? Have all five characters in a party and have elements inspired by Blue Dragon -- remember that RPG game I played on the Xbox 360? And Honkai: Star Rail, with each of the characters' Ultimate Attack and their own FP.

And this wraps up today's episode of Joe's Monologues and wow, there was a lot I had to talk about. This format is better, so I'm gonna use this format for the rest of the episodes going forward.

Joe's Monologues - 11/15/23

We are approaching the end of 2023 and headed towards 2024. It's time for the next iteration of Joe's Monologues, so marvel in as I monologue what's happening.

Did you like the previous Skullgirls X BBTAG updates? What makes it special is that I added Minette, Feng, Venus and Christmas to my projects because they are eligible for their BBTAG palettes to be legal during my online casual I postponed planning, along with going full blast also on Steam when Marie comes out until I get a new high-end laptop. I hope you like them because they are coming along real nicely to become even more of a masterpiece. I am just one character away from hitting the 20th character on my projects.

But that's not the only thing I am monologing. I want to talk about a platform-based fighting game I enjoyed playing, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. It is a sequel and a huge improvement that kills every problem Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 1 created.

There are several problems in All-Star Brawl 1. At the launch of the first installment, voice acting couldn't be implemented, which was the worst problem that was actually solved by implementing voice acting on a later patch. The Ready to Fight! sign you see in Smash Bros. games blocked most of the character portraits, making it harder to see where the player tokens are when it comes to changing the CPUs' characters. The gameplay feels dull and it's not completely in tandem with Smash standards. It's because it lacks shielding and uses a rock-paper-scissors mechanic that became a huge pain. Even my rule settings are not saving. That's how it got a 7 in IGN. It ended up with 25 characters after all three DLC characters were released in the first Season Pass and a second one didn't get greenlit.

But in All-Star Brawl 2, it is not the case because it launched with better voice acting, gameplay is greatly refined, the rock-paper-scissors mechanic is retired in favor of shields, my rule settings are saved and the Slime mechanic is an interesting touch. The Slime meter uses three bars and draws inspiration from Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Guilty Gear with bursts, cancels, EX special moves and cinematic Ultimate Attacks. They are so insane. Even April O'Neal's is really anime because it's a Spirit Bomb Ultimate Attack and I had to fall in love with her, like when Mightykeef fell in love with March 7th in that anticipated Honkai: Star Rail skit I desired. Also, check out TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. You're gonna enjoy it.

It started out with 25 characters at launch, but more characters are on their way and they are slated to release throughout 2024. There is a first patch being developed and it has a lot of changes based on their feedback, including adding the announcer voice lines during gameplay, which I don't understand. You know what change I want? If they make the CPU use their Slime meter more often in higher difficulties. Sadly, the characters from the first game didn't make it and got cut, including the Shredder, the iconic villain of the TMNT franchise seen at the end of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem to create a cliffhanger. But Rocksteady is in the Season Pass along with Mr. Krabs, Zuko and Iroh.

I got to hand it to Fair Play Labs for knocking Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 out of the park by solving every single problem the first one created. I also heard that it is nominated for best fighting game at this year's upcoming Game Awards. I know it may not be Game of the Year, but we'll see which game earns the Game of the Year title. I plan to get it also on the Switch so that I can play it on the go on longer car trips like I did with Team Sonic Racing. And if I can be able to get the gist of what's going on, it's the lore.

And now, with that out of the way, it's time to talk about what has been many days since the sunset of something called the Paladins Stream Team. It was created back in 2016 and it refreshes the list of Stream Team members every year. And now, where it stands, the Paladins Stream Team has been officially been sunset on that day Halloween starts after seven years. This is due to the fact that Paladins is shifting to a more communal and independent approach to benefit making Paladins the best game it can be. I am sad that it had to be defunct along with AoC and the Switch port, but it's for the better. There is a next update in the works and it's unclear that Update Shows will still be aired or not on Paladins' Twitch channel. We'll see.

But the SMITE Stream Team is still ongoing and it's highly likely to still be supported for many years to come along with the Switch port and the Olympians, so all eyes on that. The SMITE World Championship is approaching. The regular phase is finished with the Gilded Gladiators' part in finally getting a win. However, that is not enough to get them to the Playoffs because only the top three teams on each division can earn their spot at the SWC Playoffs. This means that Gladiators, along with the Eldritch Hounds, will not be able to make it. Well, they are rookies, so it makes sense for them to be trash.

Well, it looks like I have reached the end of this episode of Joe's Monologues. There is nothing left to talk about at this moment.

SG X BBTAG Update #6

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Skullgirls X BBTAG update series. In the last update, I shown you how my projects are becoming a masterpiece even more after I added Feng, Minette and Venus and shown you Christmas in her Yuzuriha palette as a surprise. And now, we're moving on to this next update of the series, so let's dive right in.

Before Crossplay:

After Crossplay:

We'll start with the elephant in the room, which is my Discord server's banner art. Christmas is now added to even out the number of characters facing Marie. I also fixed some of the errors on few palettes that were colored wrongly, as well as the quality of Feng, Minette and Christmas, adjusted the position and updated Marie's picture to her new one, which is better than the other one and shows that she is unleashing her EXS without the Skull Heart and that's the fun beauty of her Orie palette. You'll see them in later projects.

I told everyone on X that I am planning to make another Twitch channel that will be focused on streaming only Skullgirls during my special online casual where we are restricted to playing these characters you are seeing on my splash art, including Feng, Minette, Venus and Christmas, who are not yet playable, but they deserved to be on there because they have been added to the palette editor two weeks ago and all four of them are eligible for their BBTAG palettes to be legal. For this, here is my separate channel's offline screen that will also be updated when more characters get added to the palette editor and existing characters' images get updated in parallel with my Discord server's banner art.

I originally stated that I would go full blast also on Steam, which my online casual will take place on once Marie is released. My Discord server is buttoned up and ready to be shared, but unfortunately, there has been a change of plans. After looking at the specs on my laptop I'm using, I learned that they are not good enough for my Steam games to run smoothly. Because of this, I will no longer think that I'm gonna go full blast also on Steam once Marie is fully released and I will be postponing planning my own online casual until I get a high-end laptop with better specs and a good amount of hertz.

Remember what 1smash18 said that he needed a new high-end computer with better specs so that his Steam games can run smoothly? Well, I'm doing the same thing, by getting a new high-end laptop with better specs so that my Steam games can run smoothly.

By the way, there is a delicious surprise Beowulf, Parasoul, Annie, Umbrella, Cerebella and Feng in their Kanji, Mitsuru, Izayoi, Platinum, Mika and Chie palettes on the left side are holding on the play...

During BBTAG 2.0:

During BBTAG 3.0:

In both periods, Christmas in Yuzuriha's colors is located after Double in Merkava's colors and before Squigly in Hilda's colors and the Under Night In-Birth row is now left with one empty space now located in the middle, which will be for Aeon's Vatista palette. Now, seven characters are eligible for their UNI palettes.

During BBTAG 2.0:

During BBTAG 3.0:

If Christmas doesn't get her Yuzuriha palette, it will stay on my palette pack on both periods. Same with Minette, Feng and Venus' Minette Chie and Linne palettes.

On my fanmade character select screen, the characters' portraits on the bottom row are rearranged while the ones on the top are also rearranged as Marie is no longer on the top row and middle column after adding Christmas to it on the upper right hand corner. This placement lasts until the 20th character is on there.

As I added Minette, Feng, Venus and Christmas to my projects, I am nearing the 20th character eligible for their BBTAG palette on this one and my other projects that are becoming even more of a masterpiece. But please be aware that their portraits and the placement of them on this graphic above are not final and will change. But one interesting thing will stay, though.

If you look at the icon on Minette's apron colored red during the process of making her a Celica palette, you'll notice that it is now has colors to match the pantones of her apron, arms and skirt.

What makes it crazy is that one of the members of the Last Hope became eligible for their BBTAG palette and that is Christmas and making a Yuzuriha palette out of her is the cherry on top. I feel like that if she becomes playable, she might play like her. A blade in her hand; no mistaking it.

A little announcement, Marie's Alpha has dropped last week and came with full voice acting, her stage and all of her moves since she is developed further after she gets released on Mobile first, like with Annie. Except that Marie launched with few sketchy frames and a partial set of palettes during her Alpha. If any of you own the Season 1 Pass on Steam, you'll gain access to Marie's Alpha and she will be available separately on her Early Access Beta phase, which will begin when all of her frames are completed.

Originally, Marie was supposed to release on December. Development on Marie is continuing along, but apparently, due to circumstances, she is no longer being slated to release in December. All of Marie's sketchy frames take a while for them to be completed and her art won't be finalized before then, so it's most likely that Marie is slated to release in early 2024, along with Nidra, the third character in the Them's Fightin' Herds Season 1 Pass, to also be slated to release in early 2024. Unless if they get a lot more developers to join the team, of course.

But Marie is not the only thing coming because the general balance pass is also in the works to make the whole cast the best it can be.

The only thing about this is that since 2nd Encore and the Season 1 Pass are available on all three console versions, Marie and all of her bells and whistles, like her Story Mode and a finalized set of balance changes for the rest of the cast will be submitted to all three console platforms.

It has been a long road and a wild ride for Skullgirls, man. It started out with eight characters in the original roster. Then six more characters expanded the roster to 14 during the Indiegogo period, which established a launch roster for 2nd Encore. And now, here we are. Four more characters expanded the roster to 18 during the Season 1 Pass period and Marie is in development. And once she is fully released on all four platforms, the Season 1 Pass period is over and Justice Sword, Active Angel, Walpurgisnacht and Purity & Strictly will be played to the "true" max on all four platforms. After that, it's off to waiting for an update that gives the new characters' Story Mode their full voice over and hoping for a Season 2 Pass and crossplay.

I am also waiting for the next update for Skullgirls Mobile, which makes Marie completely available to be acquirable from all Standard Relics I've been hording until then and get her Prize Fight available. It's interesting that Marie is the final boss and was freed from all influence after destroying the Skull Heart without hitting her to become a playable fighter. But we can still fight her boss version on Arcade Mode and certain challenges, but not on her Story Mode because like Xblaze and others, it will be a visual novel to entail her past life and how she gained control of the Skull Heart.

I will never forget the fact that all four Season 1 Pass characters have all been eligible for their BBTAG palettes, consisting of three BlazBlue palettes and one Under Night In-Birth palette. It is clean as crap for these characters to be eligible for my special online casual I postponed planning until I get a gaming laptop with a good amount of hertz.

In conclusion, with Minette, Feng, Venus and Christmas added to my projects as they are eligible for their BBTAG palettes of Celica, Feng, Linne and Yuzuriha above, I am nearing the 20th character eligible for their BBTAG palette. This should (hopefully) be the last update before I have the 20th BBTAG palette. I hope it is either for a male character, like Taliesin's Tohru Adachi palette, Yu Wan's Jubei palette or Hubrecht's Azrael palette or for Aeon's Vatista palette to fill out the UNI row.

Joe's Monologues - 10/17/23

We are halfway through October and Halloween is around the corner, so get ready for some bone chilling and spooky moments looming as I start the next Joe's Monologues, which the series will be named going forward. But don't worry. What do I have to monologue on will not be scary, I promise.

First off, regarding my Wrapper: Offline career. I am starting my career as a GoAnimator soon because I was able to get the VoiceForge and Ivona voices working again thanks to the video that explains how do I get them working again. I shared my roadmap of new videos on YouTube divided into three sections below.

Planned Videos in Development - Videos that are slated to be uploaded soon.

Planned Videos on Reserve - Videos that are put on pause until further notice.

Planned Videos in Concept - Videos that are on the verge of being explored, but likely won't happen until confirmation.

It was just the rough first pass and I'll be posting my updated roadmap soon.

Of course, my career might hit some roadblocks, but not frequently. I am looking forward to start my GoAnimate career fresh. Now, in case if you guys are wondering, I won't be uploading new Wrapper: Offline videos on my main channel, which is now reset to start fresh. I'll be uploading new videos on my separate new channel because I want to start fresh. A link to it will be posted soon.

I am on the source of developing my Wrapper: Offline avatar and studio and I am down to the final stage of development as I was able to get the VoiceForge and Ivona TTS voices working again. I am also still on the source of creating a handful of characters that are based on my interests in my life. When I say based on my interests in my life, I mean I make a handful of characters from video games, TV shows, movies. YouTube channels I'm following and other works.

Look, what I'm trying to say is the GoAnimate community is so vast and connected. I'm sure TTS voices will be working. Especially when making your own copyright and safety message screens. I like those things since my inception of playing 6th generation era games. Even the ones in games by THQ, the American toy company turned video game company that had to file a Chapter 11 bankruptcy after series of stock drops, financial struggles and debt.

I would like to give a shoutout to one of my favorite GoAnimators named MumaX992. He became the source of inspiring me of making characters from TV shows, movies, video games and other works and videos that are on my list of ideas. And now, he's back because Wrapper: Offline can restore the GoAnimate community. I look forward to watching his new videos. But he confirmed that he will be uploading new videos on a new separate channel because it's to start fresh.

And any of you fans enjoyed Sonic Frontiers' Final Horizon update? The update is amazing. All of Sonic's friends each not only have a BGM, but also their own skill tree and skill points. The only thing about this is that if you're playing as Sonic, the BGM for Ouranos Island plays while he has access to using keys to open portals, but not when you're playing as Amy, Knuckles and Tails because they each have their own BGM while they don't have access to using keys to open portals and this is something that also makes Sonic Frontiers truly Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and they are all catchy. I was even having trouble clearing Snake's Trial, until I thought of a way to beat it. I Cycloop around the enemy, and press square two times and circle before the shield drops. The Titan Rush trial wasn't frustrating because if I Quick Cycloop them, their defense is significantly decreased and they are on the ropes during that state.

Honestly, I feel calm when listening to Amy's theme because I can see how retiring to Los Angeles has its perks since I heard the layout of GTA V's Los Santos, Sonic Unleashed's Spagonia and Skullgirls' New Meridian drew inspiration there, considering the Boardwalk and the Wonder Wharf drew inspiration from the one in the Santa Monica Pier, knowing Active Angel became a perfect fit.

Now I'm one progress away from beating the new story, which is beating The End. However, there's a cable the fake moon bears and it quickly regenerates The End's HP. I need to figure a way to sever that cable...

I know Toys for Bob is working on Crash Team Rumble, but I would like a new story for Spyro: Year of the Dragon where I can freely switch between Spyro and his four friends that each come with their own BGM in their perspective.

Now, I want to tell you about the drama I have experienced over on YouTube. This is regarding cyberbullying. If you don't know what is cyberbullying, it is harassing users online, by recording them and posting on YouTube. I want to make videos out of pedophiles because they deserved it for traumatizing and kidnapping children, but I was told that it is considered cyberbullying as reporting them to the authorities is legit. How is making videos out of pedophiles is cyberbullying? Making parodies about them is the way to get them terminated.

I'm gonna tell you how pedophiles are extremely dangerous. They are adults who conduct sex towards childiren, like stripping them. This is the worst criminal offense and doing so will cause fans to hate you forever because once exposed as a pedophile, game over. They don't deserve forgiveness, a second chance or rehabilitation for kidnapping and traumatizing children. They deserve bad karma, consisting of getting their accounts terminated, jail time and mistreatment. Making videos out of them is considered bad karma, not cyberbullying. And I don't know if you know this, but it's intense.

But hey, you know what's intense? The way Mightykeef, my favorite YouTuber makes his skits. Even the one about how Mortal Kombat 1 plays on the Switch. I was intrigued at the graphics on the Switch version. It made it look like a PS2 game. No wonder there isn't that much players of the FGC plays Mortal Kombat 1 on the Switch. Fortunately, they pushed out a patch that improves performance on the Switch version, as well as implementing access to Season 1 of Invasions.

The one about Mortal Kombat 1 isn't the only thing that is intense. The Naraka: Bladepoint skit is up. He shown those guys that he is not trash. At the beginning, mentioning Naraka sounds like a villain from Inuyasha. I know it sounds far-fetched, but it's a melee weapon-centric battle royale. The skit about it is intense that I'm hearing weird voices over the game screen. It's kind of a technicality, yes.

You know what I like to see uploaded on Mightykeef's channel? About how he feels playing Honkai: Star Rail for the first time. There is a skit about buying characters on Genshin Impact with real money, so I want to see a Honkai: Star Rail skit get uploaded in response to its release on PS5, as well as its battle system reminding me of Xenosaga. Remember that game?

Thanks for listening and that's all I have to say. I hope you guys have a wonderful day. And remember, with Halloween fast approaching, you're in for a spooky blockbuster.

SG X BBTAG Update #5 + Special Surprise

Welcome to the 5th standalone update for Skullgirls X BBTAG and this one proves that I'm not done with making BBTAG palettes out of Skullgirls characters because they added more sprites to the palette editor under the custom section. And I have a special surprise that you will see later on.

Before we dive right in, on the previous update, my projects have become a masterpiece now that I have a final picture of Marie in Orie's colors and I have a new collage that has more empty slots and that's why the previous one is not the final one and there will be more of them you are about to see, along with a special surprise. Now, on to the update.

You guessed it. Minette, Feng and Venus have been recently added to the palette editor under the custom section and I made Celica, Chie and Linne palettes out of these characters above as a cherry on top. They became eligible for them because Crystal Forest, Like the Dragon and Night Walker are the themes that fit perfectly well with them.

You are wondering why Marie is no longer in the middle. After some thought, I learned about the placement that contains Marie in the middle of this collage. It didn't meet up with my standards and putting her in the middle didn't turn out well despite being the Skullgirl. It's because putting her in the middle affected the size of the top and bottom characters in the middle. As a result, I put her after Black Dahlia in Nine's colors and it is the best bet. But that's not all. This collage is starting to become a masterpiece even more after putting Minette, Feng and Venus on there.

BBTAG 2.0:

BBTAG 3.0:

The graphic during the BBTAG 3.0 period is coming along nicely as the BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena rows have been filled out. On both periods, Minette in Celica A. Mercury's colors is located after Annie in Izayoi's colors and before Black Dahlia in Nine the Phantom's colors, Feng in Chie Satonaka's colors is located before Beowulf in Kanji Tatsumi's colors and Venus in Linne's colors is located before Marie in Orie's colors to match the order of character introduction on each universe.

BBTAG 2.0:

BBTAG 3.0:

Still the same placement for the three additional characters. If their Celica, Chie and Linne palettes don't make it to 2nd Encore, they will stay on my palette pack.

I told you that the characters on this Discord server's banner art must be smaller and positioned to fit more characters, so I made them a bit smaller and positioned them to make room for Minette, Feng and Venus. They deserve to be up there because they are assigned to BBTAG character themes that fit perfectly well with their personality to be eligible for their BBTAG palette and a ticket to my special online casual. On the left side, Feng is spotted while on the right side, Minette and Venus are spotted. Now this is starting to become even more of a masterpiece.

And finally, the portraits on my fanmade character select screen were made a bit smaller to fit Feng, Minette and Venus' portraits located on the bottom row. This matches the placement in the character select screen in 2nd Encore that will take place once Marie hits Alpha and beyond, hoping we get word about it soon now that she is released on Mobile. The random selection has a ? mark and it's because importing own fonts on Canva no longer requires Pro.

All of my projects are becoming a masterpiece even more after putting Feng, Minette and Venus on them. But please be aware that their images are previews to show how fly they are in their Minette, Chie and Linne palettes and they will be replaced with final ones once they are released on Mobile. If they make it to the Season 2 Pass, I'll be hyped for that because I need at least one character eligible for their BBTAG palette in it. This goes to show that I am not done with my endeavor yet. It must go on until the end.

Alright, everyone, are you ready for a big surprise? Feast your eyes on this!

Surprise! Christmas, one of the members of the Last Hope, have also been added to the palette editor under the custom section. I made her a Yuzuriha palette as a cherry on top because if she becomes playable, I feel like that she might fight like her considering that she is spotted in the River King Casino. If anyone asks if I'm gonna put Christmas in Yuzuriha's colors on my projects and what BBTAG character theme she will be assigned to, I will do that and you'll find out soon. This is just part one of the Skullgirls X BBTAG update series.

Doing so is the fact that I love making BBTAG palettes out of Skullgirls characters to promote the launch party and I am so glad that controversial censorship update didn't stop me from doing so. So yeah, it's possible for me to actually make Celica, Chie, Linne and Yuzuriha palettes out of all four characters that have been added to the palette editor. I can see why palettes depicting characters from other universes is the best bet. I would like to see a male character get added to the palette editor.
