Criminal Girls: Invite Only - review

Every once in a blue moon, the gaming took a simple and straight forward process. When it comes to simple RPG games, they don't have any towns or some sort because they have simple mechanics, but some have annoying random encounters. We should read the review about the simple RPG game I'm talking about. Yep, you guess it, Criminal Girls: Invite Only!

Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a simple RPG game that the seven girls, or delinquents are in jail and they need to reach freedom or they will die. Your job is to lead the girls to freedom.

Meet the Delinquents:

Sako - One of the delinquents who has a best friend named Yuko. She relies on fire based attacks and balanced skills. With her punching glove, she's going to KO opponents with one blow.

Yuko - Partnered with Sako, her and Sako became best friends. Yuko relies on healing skills that help others. With her broom, she's ready to stymie her opponents.

Ran - One of the delinquents with a mad attitude. Despite her looks, she is a mad delinquent who relies on support skills. With her sword and shield, the delinquent slash knight will but out of jail.

Alice - One of the delinquents with a shy posture. Alice relies on magic attacks and ignores some of her physical attacks. With her book, she'll use magic to defeat her opponents.

Kisaragi - One of the delinquents with a balanced attitude. She relies on treasure searching skills. With her sword, her mission will be busting out of hell.

Tomoe - One of the delinquents who uses a staff as a weapon. She relies on helping allies and returning them to camp.

Shin - One of the delinquents who uses cards to fight. Basically, she is the leader of the delinquents who relies on commanding operation skills.

The Gameplay:

Criminal Girls: Invite Only's gameplay is very simple. Outside of battle, you'll lead the delinquents. to safty. The map is located on the upper right corner, and you can enlarge it, by pressing the Circle button. As you proceed to the area you never been to, the map builds. On some floors, you'll see the pink circle. The pink circle is the infirmary. It will start small, but when you go in, it grows. When it grows, you have been into the infirmary on the areas.

In the infirmary, you'll do four things. The "Rest" option allows you to fully recover your HP and MP. The "Shop" option allow you to go shopping to restock items using money, known as CM. The "Save" option allows you to save your progress, And finally, the "Motivate" option allows you to motivate the girls.

Motivating the Girls:

It has excellent benefits because motivating the girls will give them attacks and skills. It costs CM, depending on the motivation level. The max level is lv. 5. There's also a great chance that you'll motivate the girls to maximum. On the motivation screen, you'll see the pink fog. The parts of the fog will lift when you hit the Temptations the right way. At the end, the girls will earn EXP. When they level up, they'll aquire new skills. As the story progress, motivation tools will be found.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only's combat system is simple. You'll see the the command for each girl with quotes. After you choose who will attack, new commands will be chosen. If you see the x2 symbol by "Attack," two girls will attack. There are other commands. Press the Triangle button to escape, press the L button to change party members, and press the R button to use items. If you see the "Skill" command, she'll use it when you select it. They cost MP (Magic Points), which are capable of being consumed by using skills. At the end, you'll earn EXP. But be careful, when the girls' HP (Hit Points) reaches 0, it's game over and you need to think fast. When her HP is 0, the screen flashes red and the coffin appears. You can revive her using, the item that revives the girls.

Bond Attacks:

Unlike regular attacks, Bond Attacks are very powerful moves. When you see the "Link!" symbol and a spiky command bubble with "Chained," she'll be capable of using a Bond Attack. Take Sako and Yuko for instance. When you have them in battle, the command will appear, but it'll cost MP. Also, you can use them on convict battles.

Changing Party Members:

When you have more than four girls on your team, you can swap party members using the L button, choose the outside member and swap with one of the girls in battle. Simple as that. It is also useful of swapping the member who is low in health with a healthy member.

Girl's Wish:

When the girls reach a certain level, you'll be having a request from the girls. When you complete a request, the rose lights up. In fact, they are side quests that are easy to finish. To finish one, go to the map that has a heart symbol and the wish is cleared. If you fulfill that wish, something good will happen.

The Conclusion:

I'm going to say this, Criminal Girls: Invite Only is the most simple RPG game that mature fans that will enjoy. The mechanics are simple to deal with and the Japanese voices are great in quality! There's one best thing. You can make the Criminal Girls in GoAnimate, but only in the Chibi Peepz section.

Pros:

+Simple mechanics
+Great music quality

Cons:

-Annoying random encounters

This concludes the review of Criminal Girls: Invite Only, and I'm giving it a perfect 10 because I had fun on this game, and not a single chore to play because when you're in a tight spot, you motivate the girls until you're ready. One of the RPG games I had fun from the beginning to the end.
