Gust's next Atelier game revealed

After a careful consideration, Gust's 3rd Atelier game of the Dusk series has finally been revealed. It's now titled "Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea." The 3rd of the Dusk series will feature two different protagonists like on Atelier Escha & Logy and the story will be deep as well. Right now, how that works is a secret.

It'll be out in the west either this year or next year. We will need to wait and see.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight - will release tomorrow

NIS' RPG game The Witch and the Hundred Knight will be out in stores tomorrow. The game has finally gone gold and the article states that. The release is tomorrow, so this is the perfect opportunity to explain clearly about this game!

The Witch and the Hundred Knight is about a witch who has the knight with her. She has a lot of days until something special. Can she be able to become a good witch? As for the gameplay, it's plays alot like the Pikmin series because of gathering. Thus, you can take the time to get through! As stated, I will doubt that this will be a niche RPG game.

Will be writing a story soon!

I hope you guys are able to enjoy Tales of Symphonia Chronicles because as a treat, I'm going to be able to write me a story with RPG characters! Now, on behalf of clearing urgent RPG games and doing the relaxation, I can take the time to give you the reason why I'm writing a story.

The reason why I'm writing a story was because it's the legendary way to polish up my writing skills. I don't want anyone to think my writing skills were flawed. Also, I'm a fan of reading stories and story telling. That was when I was little. Now, I'm going to get ready to write a story soon. I can't tell you accurately when, but here's the estimate.

What's the Story and When?:

I'll be writing a story about Emil, Logy, Marta and Escha and I'll be publishing it after I finished Atelier Escha & Logy. First, I'll need to finish Lightning Returns. I haven't gotten this far since the real time system was implemented. Not to worry, it'll be a smack dab in the middle when I'm through! There's one thing that's also interesting. I'm going to pick up The Witch and the Hundred Knight from my mailbox in a few days! This will also keep me waiting while thinking of a best title. For the time being, I'll be playing other games to hold me off.

Gust's next Atelier game - teaser article

After Atelier Escha & Logy, Gust has finally announced a new Atelier game from the Dusk series! It's codenamed "A16." Now, we don't know for sure if it's the final game or not. It's clear that this will be the final game. Here's a teaser article for the next Atelier game.

Now, as usual, it's a girl with black hair. She wears stockings, she has a weapon that looks short. That's all I can cover. I don't know what's her name yet until more information regarding to the next Atelier game was found. In fact, this is a part of the Dusk series.

As soon as more information is revealed, I'll post an article about it.

It's time to understand Eschatology

The fancy term "Eschatology" is considered a fancy word. The way I see it was this fancy word is easy to pronouce. The word is basically an easy to use word. Well, here's the definition of it below.

This fancy word "Eschatology" refers to as studying hot situations, such as murdering, end of the world, etc.. The term serves as psychology. It's understandable on every situation like on the part on Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Here's the sentence below regarding to the part.

"In the burning city of Palmacosta, Lloyd Irving uses Eschatology by murdering the citizens. And now, Emil swears vengeance upon him, avenging his parents' death."

Now, in order to understand Eschatology a bit more, you need to play Atelier Escha & Logy. Now don't get me too excited because using fancy words help me improve my writing skills. Even hindsights. Now, since I'm finally done with Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, I'm thinking of writing a "Bravely Default style" story about the four heroes, Emil, Logy, Marta and Escha to improve my writing skills even more... It was a great JRPG. Tiz, Agnes, Ringabel and Edea are the four great heroes of the game. That is, until Ringabel's "Master Asia" like Rowen Ilbert from Xillia. So, for the time being, if I can call it a nutshell, then I would recommend it.

I didn't get the fake ending on Bravely Default, but I did get the true ending that comes with a bonus and a possibility to hope for the sequel to officially release in the US.

Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky - out now in the west!

After Comedy Central's RPG game, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Atelier Escha & Logy hits the western shelves of the stores today! If you're a huge fan of the Atelier series, then you have me to explain this again. Here, I'll redo it from scratch.

Now, first off, it's a sequel to Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk that continues the story. Like other games, Ever Grace, Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy and Tales of Xillia, you can choose either Escha's side or Logy's side. You can use a coin toss by heads for Escha's story and tails for Logy's story. Escha's story uses a traditional intact while Logy's story has some serious things. In fact, this game will have Eschatology, a word that's associated with the game.

Also, an anime to it was made live in Japan! Although, it didn't air to the west, but I'm hoping for it to air on Adult Swim.

That, in a nutshell, will be a niche JRPG for you to pick up.

My rental life is back to normal

After a hard working of mine, my rental life is back to normal. It's all thanks to covering the urgent RPGs. Now, first off, let's talk about Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. The whole collection was a blast because of the HD touch and new features. The best thing I like about the collection was the storyline with a deep and engaging scene. I know I said that it'll be my final urgent game, which is true. Many people including me are loving it. We've been waiting a few years for the collection. It's finally happening!

Now, as for Dawn of the New World, the storyline isn't that deep. There are some issues that AREN'T fixed. It was outdated since the team was so lazy to update it. In the end, I found the true ending! It looks better than the bad ending. That, in a nutshell, is something they should update. After I found the true ending, my rental life is back to normal. That could mean I can be able to rent Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, as well as other games, too, including the ones that are going to release this month. Also, I can play some Street Fighter X Tekken to hold me off until my games come in the mail.

And forgive me when I'm trying to fix my issues. The fact is, I was able to get rid of the urgent games just to get back to normal. I have that much time to clear it.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles - review (Part 1 of 2)

Many years ago, the PS2 title Tales of Symphonia releases in Japan, but didn't release to the US. The GameCube version releases to the US, but that's a rare game. Namco Bandai is a company that did the Tales of series, but Namco did the series. The very first Tales of game was Tales of Phantasia for the SNES.

In the early times, Namco did a great job developing the series and they are a hit. In a few years after the year that the GameCube version releases to the US, the Wii sequel Dawn of the New World releases to the US. This year, both games are combined into one chronicle. This is part 1 of the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles review. Part 1 will be about the PS2 game.

The Story:

The first game's story stays the same, but in Symphonia Chronicles, new story elements are added and anime cutscenes are improved. Still, the story is keen. Is slapping a character is a part of the story? Well, let's say the story to it was awesome.

The World Map:

The map has 2 worlds that are separated from each other. To switch between the worlds, use a flying thing called a Rheiard to fly over the base. Although the quality wasn't best, though. There's a lot of things to do, like using Long Mode using the square button. It works when the rock is touched on each area.

There are points on the map. Red means visited and gray means not yet visited. Using the Rheiards, it's faster than walking and riding a ship.

The Skits:

They are mini scenes. In Tales of Symphonia, they aren't voiced when using English voices and emoticons are added. Skits are viewed by pressing the Select button when the title of a skit appears on the bottom left corner after certain times. Can you view them all?

The Gameplay:

The gameplay stays the same. The 3D model has a cell shading style in Symphonia Chronicles. The attack basics allow you to increase your TP, MP from the Tales of series. To consume TP, use the special attacks or Artes.

After getting this far, the Unison Attack gauge will appear. The Unison Attack allows Artes to be used by each character. When certain Artes are performed, a team Arte or a Compound Arte will be performed by 2 people.

The Power of the Over Limit:

Over Limit is a feature that allows anyone to be prevented from knockbacks and such. The feature triggers automatically when attacked a lot. The black aura appears during the Over Limit.

The Sorcerer's Ring:

The Sorcerer's Ring is a magic ring that can come from different elements and be used using the square button. For normal, it starts out with fire. The elements can change using the mechanism that can change the power.

How to Use EX Skills:

EX Skills are the type of skills that can give the heroes skills. To assign one, go to the blank with the crystal and choose any skill you like. This effect the heroes. Crystals can unlock the blank while the new ones will destroy the old ones.

The Best and the Worst:

Tales of Symphonia is a great game for fans that will love. The graphics and gameplay looks strong and comic booky. What I like about it was the storyline with an engaging and deep intact. In other words, it's an awesome game you will not miss.

My point is about the game was the story was longer than any other games. Let's just say the storyline is deep and engaging. Also, I do not regret playing it for memories.

Pros:

+Amazing graphics
+Gameplay looks extremely strong

Cons:

There are no cons

To be continued...

The Tales of collection is a blast!

After a demand, we finally have a Tales of collection. Days ago, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles hits the shelves and many fans including me are loving it! In other words, the colletion is awesome! The original systems' games have updated looks from old to new. New story elements are added, and skits emoticons are added. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is a nutshell to beat.

The story stays the same, but retains its charm. The overall gameplay is so robust and keen, the Unison Attacks are extremely awesome. It's highly recommended to beat the PS2 game before moving on to the Wii sequel to get a reward. As stated, this will be my last urgent RPG game so I can get back to my relaxing rental life. This March, we'll get to see Atelier Escha and Logy, The Witch and the Hundred Knight, and South Park: The Stick of Truth. They are not urgent, so they will have to wait.
