If you're a big fan of the Tales RPG game series, then chances are, you should have at least known about Tales of Xillia by now. Tales of Xillia 2 is a sequel to Tales of Xillia after the first one ends climatically. It also provides Xillia players out there with not just the deep and polished .hack//G.U.-style gameplay, but a deep and commanding storyline as well. A new protagonist named Ludger Kresnik starts his first day of work, then he came across a young girl named Elle Marta.
Here, the gameplay to Xillia 2 will have the return of Linked Artes and partnering up. In Xillia 1, the combat system has one similar thing to Redemption and has all the craziness from Rebirth and Reminisce. But in Xillia 2, the combat system has EVERYTHING from Redemption, as well as the circle gauge on the bottom right corner that can give Ludger immense power. This new feature is called an Immense Awakening. Although it's not on the .hack//G.U. series because there's no such thing. During the cutscenes and skit, the L1 and R1 button appears. Unlike the first game, when leveling up, the stats increase and it don't have the Lilium Orb. It'll feel more like Vesperia. Plus, more features are added, such as the E. Core earning, Pet menu and more. The characters from the first game are wearing different clothes as well. If you're interested in wanting the second game, then you should know that it'll release next year because here's the trailer straight from TGS 2013. (Be sure not to get tears of joy when Milla dies in the game.)
